If Carlsberg made B&Bs I don't think they'd even provide the kind of service we had at Hill Farm. We'd travelled up for a friends wedding, leaving our newly moved into house in a real state and looking forward to a good stress-free, list-free evening. So, pulling into the drive of Hill Farm was a lovely experience. Opening the boot...

We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The house is incredibly picturesque and our room was beautifully decorated. Bed was great, very comfortable with good quality bedding. The Moroccan bathroom is also fabulous, particularly the shower. Breakfast was served in a very attractive kitchen, where we enjoyed homemade apple juice and a delicious full English. Chris was great in...

We stayed at hill farm Friday and Saturday night for a friends wedding near by. The house is loverly, kept well and very comfortable. Don't be put off by the lack of en suite facilities, the bathroom more than makes up for the inconvenience. It is tough to find at night google maps on a mobile is your friend as...

Lovely house in a very quiet rural location. Not far from the A30 and easy to find with satnav. Discretely attentive and welcoming hosts. Decent breakfast. Exceptionally clean rooms which, whilst very comfortable, lack things like TV and kettle. There are cheaper alternatives of similar standard.

Hill farm B&B was an absolutely incredible place to stay. Chris and Dolores were exceptionally welcoming hosts and very attentive. The entire place was immaculate, the rooms were luxurious, the shower was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. It is around a 15minute drive to the nearby villages, so is perfectly accessible. Would definitely recommend this as a place to...

From the butter curls to the wisteria covered windows and the friendliest cat, this place is perfect in every way. We stumbled upon this place on our way to Cornwall as it was roughly half way for us and couldn't have been happier with the beds like clouds and the delicious breakfast. Do yourselves a favour and stay at this...

This farm was hidden at the top of a long driveway, but we received a warm welcome with tea and home made cake. Our bedroom was very small, but gave us the convenience of en suite facilities. We slept very well after visiting the nearby town for dinner. We had the kitchen and dining room to ourselves to enjoy the...

We stayed at Hill Farm while on a trip to look for houses in the area and it was excellent. We were the only guests in the place (mid week) and felt thorougly spoilt in the very spacious room that had a large very comfortable bed with lovely soft sheets and a warm duvet giving a fine night's sleep. The...

A hidden gem, we had the place to ourselves and had a lovely, comfortable stay - even our 18 month-old son fully enjoyed it! Very friendly hosts and delicious breakfast. Wonderful and spacious room with sole access to beautiful bathroom - perfect for relaxing at the end of a long drive.
