We totally enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. Jean Michel is a great host and very cordial. The room was impeccable and beautiful. The region is scenic and 'manoir d'isle' makes a great place for its exploration.

From the moment we arrived we felt very warm welcome to spend our holidays in house and garden like old friends. Hospitality and personal, friendly attendance of Jean-Michel let us feel at home just as he wanted us to feel in his house. We were very impressed by the details of the vintage style interior of all suites and the...

We had an amazing weekend at Manoir de L'Isle. The location was a tiny bit tricky to find as the road is a small dirt road but when we reached the location we were thrilled with the accommodation and the service we received from Jean Michel, he want above and beyond his duties to ensure we were looked after, he...

We stayed for two nights at this lovely B & B. The room that we occupied was the Orange Heron room, spacious, bright and with a view over the courtyard. The proprietor Jean-Michel was indeed an excellent host, among other providing us with information to a local cosy, “no fuss” café “just around the corner and also an Oyster restaurant,...

We are a family of 4 with 2 girls (1 and 3 years old). We stayed in the gîte, Yellow Eagle. The manoir is very quite, spacious and childfriendly. There is a big garden where the kids can play. Manoir de l'isle is a perfect location to explore the coastal area. Jean Michel is the best host we could ask...

This is a beautifully restored Manor House in a location that allows you to tour all of the sites and beaches of this beautiful region. We had a wonderful four night stay. The accommodation is beautifully presented and the renovation has been done very well; very stylish and with great charm. Even better, the owner, Jean Michel is an absolutely...

A beautiful, historic building. We stayed here for 2 nights while cycling around Finnisterre.A gracious welcoming host, a lovely room and splendid location, an enchanting place to stay. The only criticism is that we found the breakfast over priced and a bit disappointing.

We found Manoir de l'Isle accidentally, coming from St Malo and almost failed to find it - which would have been an absolute pity, because it was such a wonderful place to stay for us! The rooms are designed in a way you couldn't do better if it was your own house. The charme of this idyllic old farm made...

The biggest disappointment was the fact that we only stayed one night. This is a truly beautiful and charming 'Chambre d'Hote'. The staff and management were super nice and we were also blessed with lovely weather. Would we go back? Most definitely.

“Maybe much more welcoming in warmer times. Also, as seniors traveling with a friend of 90 it was not quite the accommodations we were looking for.”
