From the moment we started to look for a venue for our wedding, we looked at many other places and non compared to here. We just knew that this was the place where we wanted to hold our reception. Throughout all our planning, staff were accommodating, exceptionally friendly and very helpful. We had a hundred plus guests, all of who...

Firstly the staff are pleasant and smiley. However when we arrived there was no record of our booking. I had the printed receipt so we were then put in the cottage as there were no other rooms. The cottage is lovely. However it was filthy. Dust everywhere. My husband has a dust allergy (that only comes out if it's horrendous)....

Excellent value for money-staff very friendly. Both my husband and I need crutches to walk with and although the hotel itself has no lift the annex was perfect. Breakfast and Bar Meals were of a good standard, al a carte menu is also available. Our room in the annex was warm and we had all the amenities we required and...

Well what a treat. Yes, although in need of a little TLC ( sofa's in lounge a bit shabby and a lick of paint needed here and showers in our rooms 11 and 14 need renewing) but told it is presently undergoing renovations, this hotel is a hidden gem. Beautiful bedrooms, quaint little lounges and the most amazing restaurant and...

The hotel is in need of a little TLC, however, the staff are very friendly and and helpful. The breakfast is excellent value for £7.50 with all hot food being cooked to order. (Better than some other hotels we have stayed in where the food is kept hot.) Good location just outside Scarborough with parking.

We stayed here 1 night and our room was small but quite comfortable. However there are a few things I expect from an overnight stay - a comfortable bed, cleanliness and a good shower. The bed was fine, but the shower was useless and there was mould around the mastic and in the tile grout in the bathroom - yuk!...

Stayed for two nights for a wedding, stayed in annex, loved the idea of the annex rooms being around the courtyard on two floors, room was nice if a bit dark, hard to put makeup on as light bulbs missing which I did report but it wasn't rectified, nice bathroom but could have done with a little better housekeeping, breakfast...

Lovely location, very comfy bed! However room needed a good clean, hot water and shower was hurrendous, can't stand in shower let alone use it due to poor hot water pressure and cold water back syphoning into hot water supply/main. Breakfast was dry cooked to early and left standing to long.
