We are pleased to announce that through a lot of hard work and feedback from our valued clients we have upgraded the main hotel to the TGCSA 3 star grading as well as added an additional 10 garden suites which came online in March 2016 bringing the total number of rooms to 24 or sleeping 48 guests. The Nottingham Road Hotel has attained a 3 star grading from TGCSA. The Nottingham Road hotel or "Notties Hotel a pub with room" as it is more affectionately known (est 1854) is a beautifully restored country hotel in the central Midlands. It is a place where one is welcomed with traditional warm, family style hospitality. A must see for anyone in the area!

What an absolute pleasure staying at the legendary Notties Hotel! Paul and his team took amazing care of us. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful as well. The food served for our group was top notch as well as the team in the bar!

We called a hour prior to arrival to see if there was a room available for us and our 3 year old twins and on arrival they had already prepared a room for us with make up mattresses for them, who were not charged extra for! At dinner our very tired and grumpy toddlers were offered toy cars and paper and pens to play with to keep them occupied while we were in the restaurant by the manager.

We booked a room for friends of ours there for the night. Their feedback was that it was the ideal stopover for one night. Nicely halfway between Jhb and Margate, and the room was perfect for what was needed.

It was our first experience of Nottingham Road Hotel, and it will definitely not be our last. We were not aware of the history of this Hotel and were very amused by the story of "Charlotte". The hospitality since we arrived at reception, Grant, Bar Attendant, Food, Waitresses, everything was just fabulous. Rooms are neat and clean. Although it was cold, it was warm inside the Hotel with a cozy fire in the Dining Room. I can recommend this Hotel to anyone, anytime. Although our stay was short, because we were on our way back home after holiday, we will not pass Nottingham Road Hotel without staying over. Hotel is filled with artefacts that add to the warm and welcoming feeling one gets when arriving at the hotel. Room was cosy, clean and everything functioned correctly. Would add small table for laptop use. Food was excellent and well priced. Overall a great week end.

This charming hotel was well kept and maintained. The rooms were beautiful and the beds comfy. Our kids loved playing in the open gardens, trampoline and playground, the jumping castle was also a nice touch. The food was absolutely incredible and we all came home a few kilos heavier. Special thanks to Grant and the incredible staff for making our stay one to remember and reason for returning again.
