Our Christmas stay felt less like a hotel visit and more like staying with a family member. We stayed as a family of four with children aged 10 & 11 in a spacious first floor apartment for six nights during the Christmas holidays. The booking was smooth and the comunication prior to our stay excellent. The apartment had all the amenities we needed such as a fully equipped kitchen, large flat screen televsions and wi-fi. When we asked whether there was a DVD player so we could bring some films for the children and we explained this to the hostess Heidi she actually went out and bought one especially for us. A much appreciated touch. We were met of the train by Heidi which was fantastic as we did not have to struggle across town or find a taxi and the same on our return, again service above and beyond what you would usually expect. When we arrived we found little gifts for the children on their beds which made them feel really special and welcome. Overall we were delighted by our stay and hope to be able to use this little gem of a place for many more visits in the coming years.

We stayed in a large apartment with all the facilities we needed (kitchen, bathroom, tv, dining area, wardrobe space, hairdryer). The apartment is lovely and the host looked after us very well. We were staying in Landskrona for a wedding - wish we could have stayed a bit longer!

Very nice apartment in the beautiful small coastal city of Landskrona. Warm welcome by host with introduction to feel comfortable. The guestroom is located in a green area in a quite street in a green area with parking next door. All amenities available and restaurants/shopping/public transport within walking distance. Perfect place to discover neighboring cities like Copenhagen, Malmo and Lund (to name only a few). We felt almost at home. Carol and Michiel

Traveling alone, with your partner or your family? You choose a room or a flat according the you actual needs. It could be comfy single room with a bathroom or spacious apartment with a little kitchen when you fancy a cooking. Great for a longer stay. With the interior design and the lovely host Heidi, who is at most hospitable lady, the guesthouse gets very homely feeling. So when it happen you are in Landskrona for a while it is worth checking.

After my husband died, I needed to move into a hotel while apartment hunting, so I could ready our house for sale. Since I am handicapped, I needed a place that I could also keep my electronic mobility scooter. That was quite the problem in Landskrona... until I found Marienborg Guesthouse. Just a few very friendly emails with Heidi, the owner, and I was set for a month. Oh my is this ever the neatest old historic manor! I love old architecture and this place is full of old-world ambiance! From the external to the internal. I fell in love with it immediately. Heidi has gone so far as to match the check-in decor to the setting. Perfect! My room was a very spacious kitchenette, fully equipped. I had one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in, and mind you, I travel a lot. The cute roll-top desk just made my day! And my scooter was safely kept in the foyer, with plenty of easy-access juice to keep it charged. As far as hospitality goes, Heidi is top-notch! She really went above and beyond for me. Helped me hook up with local apartment companies, showed me the ins & outs of Landskrona, and kept me giggling my entire stay. She is a pull-no-punches straight-up kind of gal, and with a wonderful sense of humor to boot. I not only found a great place to stay, I found a friend. Now that I am in my new apartment, we stay in touch. She is just that great. If you are looking for a safe & comfortable stay, in a super location right across the street from the Slott Cafe, this is the place. 5 stars across the board.
