We have just had a delicious take away Sunday roast AND sticky toffee pudding from the Heath Inn. It was easy to order, ready bang on time and most of all delicious food 😋 We will definitely be ordering again! If you are in need of a treat over this next lockdown ( and who isn't ?!) Then get ordering!

Had a really nice meal there towards the end of October. Very accommodating and dog friendly. Great food - just want you want for pub food. Good portions. Heartily recommend a meal there when times allow.

This was the first time that we have visited the Heath Inn. I popped in on the off chance last week (23/10/20) and after a quick glance at the menu decided to give the place a try. I am glad we did. The young barman that served us was polite and efficient. The food was lovely and very well presented. I had the halloumi burger with skinny sweet potato fries and my mum had fish and chips. Good generous portions. Fully adhering to co-vid guidelines.Nice and clean. Recommend a visit. We will be definitely be returning.

I've always enjoyed a meal and a few drinks with friend in the heath.good food great staff..but lately it hasn't had the atmosphere. The young lad behind tge bar was fantastic running around doing everything, polite but harassed.they don't seem to have the experienced regular female bar/dinning staff they used to. they always had the time to make conversation and overall helpful and made our visits so much more personable which goes a long way in a village pub.its lost its sparkle.

Dear Caroline Thank you very much for your review. We very much appreciate all feedback. I am sorry you feel the pub has lost its 'sparkle' and I do hope that this is not going to stop you from visiting us. I am pleased to say that I still have all of my lovely female bar staff with me apart from one who left to take up full time employment. Perhaps you have not been in when they are on. Alex my Assistant Manager is very friendly but perhaps he was a little busy at the time you visited. The restrictions that have been put in place make it so hard to to spend a lot of time with each guest especially as people are not allowed to stand at the bar or move around the pub. Hopefully we will be able to welcome you back again soon. Best Wishes Tracy

Ive phoned the hotel, Ive tried to leave a review on Booking.com but even they have ignored me. Ive stayed here before, but this time, I’ve developed itchy red spots while I was staying there and over the weekend whilst I was at home. I’m a HCP , so have seen lots of spots and rashes... definitely bed bugs!!! I haven’t had a response back but stupidly I asked them to call me back and announced WHY I wanted them to call... I am giving the details to Central Bedfordshire Environmental Health Dept! I’m not so much annoyed about the bites.. it’s the fact Ive been ignored !!

After reviewing this response we are very sorry that you felt the need to make this comment. We have tried calling you three times now and have left three messages with no reply. You stayed with us for 5 nights at the start of this month and during this stay we were not made aware of any issues with your room, if we had we would have happily moved you to a different room. Our excellent housekeeping team thoroughly clean and check our rooms after anyone has stayed in them and there is no evidence, and has never been any evidence, of bed bugs in any of our rooms. After hearing of this comment we gave particular care and attention to inspecting this room and could not find any issues. We also have had multiple people stay in the same room after your visit and there have been no complaints at all of a similar issue. Furthermore, every month we have a professional exterminator check all of our rooms for signs of any pests and they have not found any signs. Posts like this can be very damaging to a business and if possible we hope to settle all customer complaints internally so it is a shame that it has come to this.
