We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of September. It's a nicely run site with good, clean facilities. We stayed in a VW campervan and we had a good sized pitch with electric hook up. The couple who run the site are very...More

We have just returned from a fantastic 9 night stay at this site (a family of 5 plus two dogs). The site is lovely and the camping pitches are a good size for even the biggest tent. Showers were always lovely and hot which I...More

It is really great to read reviews and hear the things our guests enjoy about our park - thank you. We thought the children's areas were an important place to start updating, and it is good to hear your children enjoyed these. More to come...More

Little Trevothan's owners were fantastic for my family who were in a very sticky situation when we found our original holiday destination had been cancelled due to a communication error. Mike and Sue were able to provide a 3 bed caravan, after we rang them...More

We were really impressed. The site was great for kids, who can go off together into the park area and games room. The static was well equipped and we used all the cooking equipment most days. Full sized cooker and decent sized fridge freezer. Plentiful...More

We stayed at 4 sites during our holiday in Cornwall and this site had the cleanest toilet/showers. While may have looked dated were regularly cleaned and checked. Maybe showers could be longer before needing to push again. Friendly welcome, big pitches. Site seemed well recovered...More

Thank you for reviewing your stay Laura and for your lovely comments. Our toilet/shower blocks are looking to be first on the agenda for the closed season when we will be looking at better lighting and the shower 'push' button amongst other things. Being a...More

    About
    Hotel description
Little Trevothan is situated in the hamlet of Trevothen, just outside the picturesque fishing village of Coverack. The village is a short walk away of just under a mile along the lane, and retains much of its original charm and atmosphere. The beach at Coverack is a large, sheltered, crescent shaped bay with sand at low tide, and has many rock pools to explore at mid tide. The beach is ideal for swimming, and also attracts lovers of water sports, such as windsurfing, snorkelling and scuba diving amongst others. Along from the beach you will find the harbour which was built from the local green serpentine rock, some of the oldest geological strata known to exist. There are two car parks at either end of Coverack, and many facilities including toilets, café, gift shop, ice creams, pub and restaurants. Little Trevothan Camping and Caravan Park has been awarded the AA 3-pennant grading. The park is a spacious, clean and well-tended ten and a half acre site in a beautiful and secluded setting with no main roads nearby, providing the perfect location for a relaxing holiday. We offer self-catering static holiday caravans and generously sized camping and touring pitches on level ground, with or without electric, all at excellent rates. Our site has a relaxed atmosphere, and we welcome families, couples, dogs, backpackers, youth organisations, university students and divers alike. Little Trevothan is an ideal base for exploring the Lizard Peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are plenty of picturesque coves to discover including the stunning Kynance Cove, and the villages are picture book perfect with thatched cottages and fleets of fishing boats with their catches of fresh crab and lobster. The peninsula also offers horse riding, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, diving, fishing and of course walking on the South West Coastal Path. Within a short drive you can visit a number of attractions including Flambards Theme Park, The Gweek Seal Sanctuary, the tropical gardens of Trebah or Glendurgan. A few more miles will take you to Paradise Park, the Maritime Museum, St Michael's Mount and the Minack Theatre for a matinee or evening show in the open air, overlooking the sea. There is so much to explore in this beautiful part of Cornwall. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
