Myself and three others stayed at Hibiscus for 4 weeks while we were on our medical elective. It really made our trip staying here. Marie was essentially our mother and looked after us very well during our time in Santo, from organizing literally everything for us to lending us her skills for carving coconuts and filleting fish- don't know what...

Can thoroughly recommend this motel. Marie and her husband were on hand for questions, and we're happy to help further by storing our bags for a few days after our stay, which was much appreciated. We stayed in the family room with one double and one bunk, and kitchenette. It was clean, tidy and had all the essentials. The only...

The Hibiscus is a wonderful place to stay with a great location, nice comfortable rooms and a lovely communal area with lots of beautiful plants. Marie was the perfect host, she was always happy to talk to us and helped us greatly with her suggestions of what to see and do. She takes great pride in looking after her guests....

Like all of the reviewers here I can only echo the sentiments that have gone before! Hibiscus is a really fantastic place to stay, by far the best budget option in Santo and this primarily comes down to Marie and Louis' hospitality and charm. Nothing is ever any trouble and you feel very safe in their hands. Great day trip...

The Hibiscus is a terrific budget option in Santo. Big, clean rooms. Nice communal area. Perfect location just off the busy main road. The trump card, however, are the owners Loic and Marie who are warm, informative and helpful. We were very grateful when Loic offered to drive us and all our gear and provisions to the wharf so we...

Marie is a really warm, friendly woman who seems to really take pride in the cleanliness of her property and also cares to ensure that her guests have a great itinerary while in Santo. The wifi only works in the communal area but that's not an issue. The room is really, really spacious for the price and it has hot...

What a trip! Made all the better by Marie and Louis, the incredible owners of Hibiscus motel. The motel is right in the centre of town but located on a nice quiet road away from the busy main road where the market, shops, bars and restaurants can be found so it's an ideal retreat whilst at the same time being...

This is a great place to stay on Santo. It's back from the main road and is very peaceful. The owners are extra friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the other guests always had a smile for us. I wish I could stay here longer than 3 nights and I am sure I will return in the...

Advance bookings are essential as this place is very popular with doctors on rotation. It is a great location a few blocks off the main Luganville road. Each room has three single beds with 24 hour electricity, and hot showers (a big luxury for us), and kitchenettes. It is a good place to stay if you are diving nearby or...

I cannot give high enough praise to Hibiscus. It is defined by the absolute superb owners - Marie and Lois. They are exceptionally friendly and happy to look after you. They lended us whatever we might need, introduced us to their friends and generally looked after us incredibly well. However if you prefer to keep yourself to yourself then they...
