Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spent one night in this lovely place when visiting the Loire valley and Vouvray region. Had good written directions from the nearby train station (St. Pierre-des-Corps), but still a bit hard to find when approaching the small town of Vernou-sur-Brenne....but once we arrived, we were so pleased with this lovely oasis. Had this feeling because it was a nice spacious and quiet dwelling, in a lovely house and on that evening, many guests were outside in the garden enjoying wine and cheese. We had a large room with 2 beds and everything was perfect. This place is very close to the Vouvray wine region and you can get great tips from the owner about exploring this area. A great spot to stay when not exploring wine routes, but also the local chateaux in the areas and visits to both Ambosie and Tours. We had a nice relaxing breakfast and Jean-Louis is ever so patient in letting "on parle en francais". Would highly recommend this place---for ease in booking with Jean-Louis (very helpful with communication) and an absolutely beautiful spot to stay when visiting this area. During this particular trip, we had visited in Barcelona and Paris---and we often recall that our visit here was the highlight of our trip! Only wished we could have stayed one more night in this town.

We selected this B & B, as it was close to the areas we wanted to see. It was a little hard to find, even with the GPS. We had 3 twin beds in a large room. There is free parking inside the gate at the rear of the property. Small breakfast, but enough to get you going.

Pleasant stay with a nice breakfast. Large courtyard with helpful host. We had fun exploring the surroundings with our bikes. Large vineyards and cornflields red with poppies. The rooms are nice but a bit basic.

I would have thought thought that a chambre d'hote should at the very least offer a comfortable bed. We stayed in the pavillon du jardin and it was atrocious. The room was musty and dank and the bed was the most uncomfortable we've ever slept on. Perhaps the rooms in the house are better. If you are considering a stopover here do not choose this room unless of course you like the sensation of sleeping on planks of wood. The village itself is pretty and the house is nicely situated, with a lovely garden area. The breakfast was good but that says more about the local boulangerie than the establishment. The host was friendly.

We are sorry that the room of the Pavillon du jardin did not please you. We accepted the cancellation of your second night without any surcharge to be pleasant to you. This room is very often asked and appreciated for its independence of the principal house and its direct access on the garden, that is why we are amazed at your remarks which we take into account nevertheless. We hope that you nevertheless had a pleasant stay in Touraine.

Very fashionable and cozy accommodiation in the valley of the Loire, with a really gentle host. The room is renoveted and modern, but in villa we felt like we are in the victorian of the 18th century. The breakfast was unforgettable. Absolutely recommended.

This is in a location that is only accessible by car. The town is a lovely medieval village 10 minutes from Amboise. The owner bought the 19th century home/estate to restore and has 5 guest rooms for rent.

The hospitality was very warm, the property incredibly beautiful and relaxing. Close to Tours, Amboise and other cute rural towns.

Fantastic breakfast, modern rooms, what more can you ask for?
Check in is at 6pm, as the couple that owns the property still works full time.

We visited this hotel many years ago when it was a full hotel not B&B and enjoyed our stay ,this wasa one night stop en route to the South .We were made very welcome and our room was well furbished and clean. We had requested advice on a dinner reservation and were delighted that Monsieur had booked a place in Vouvray for us which was a real experience ....in a troglodyte cave !!!!! superb food and ambience ...we would never have found this restaurant on our own so a big thank you.Breakfast was plentiful ,parking was secure the only downside for us was that we were unable to book in until after 6pm but would recommend this B&B

The place just feels amazing. Its hard to pinpoint it but something about it makes you feel more at home than in your own home. The entire place feels like its yours the entire time. The breakfasts are absolutely unbeatable - great coffee, amazing bread (multigrain, croissants, whole weat, baguette... name it). The staff are amazing, kind, helpful. Anytime I'm in France I'll come back here.

We recently stayed at Les Perce Neige for 2 nights. Room was spacious and nicely renovated. The host was fantastic. He gave us many tips of where to visit, when to go to avoid crowds. Well priced and near many of the chateaux. Charming town as well. Hopefully we will be back!

This B&B was truly a port in the storm. We were on the second day of a bike tour on a busy weekend and found this place as a result of a visit to the tourist office. It was very comfortable and the proprietor was extremely accommodating, directing us to some shops in town where we could purchase provisions for dinner. He was even kind enough to provide plates and cutlery. Excellent breakfast in the morning.
