We stayed in Le Moulin for 2 nights to break up our journey from Caen to the Dordogne and 2 more nights on the way home. Florence was extremely welcoming upon our arrival and was always so sweet to our two children, taking time to speak to them and ask how they were enjoying their holiday. She really went out... More

We kept adding an extra day. It was lovely and peaceful. There are so many chateaux nearby and the hostess is wonderful. Florence will provide good suggestions on where to eat and what time to visit the chateaux. She also has guidebooks and maps. She is most flexible and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and the breakfasts are wonderful.

From the moment we arrived, Florence made us welcome. Our room was large with a lovely grand but comfortable bed. The breakfast consisted of local produce and yogurt which Florence makes herself every day. Fresh bread of different types, including a gluten free one and delicious croissants! Florence can advise on places to go locally and we visited Chenonceau Chateau... More

My parents and I spent 9 nights in the Suite Vouvray of Le Moulin Des Landes. We absolutely loved our stay. Florence, the hostess, is hard working, attentive and charming. The rooms were elegantly furnished and spacious. The breakfast was absolutely delicious (the highlights were daily fresh bread and viennoisserie, home made jams and home made yogurt). Much enjoyed our week at Le Moulin. We were at the tail end of a couple of months touring in France – and figured that time in the beautiful Loire Valley would be a very good note to end on. We were also looking to relax a little – to recharge ready for the long flight home. Le Moulin had... More
