In the beginning of August, we visited France for a few days. Our first stay was at No 8 B&B in Mailly. Very clean and quiet B&B run by a fantastic host, Mr. Wade
Car trouble? he helped us out! Stay for an extra night? no problem! Thank you Mr.
Wade for your hospitality.

We stayed at Andy Wade's B&B in Mailly and were just delighted. It was clean, quiet, and Andy is a charming host. We felt perfectly at home, and were right in the center of the vineyards and region of Champagne. We would definitely stay again.

We spend 2 nights in this charming B&B. Excellent place : nice decoration, very cosy and very clean. Spacious room well equiped with a separated (connected) small room for my daughter. Very calm surrounding. A good place for the visit of the region : Reims and Epernay are about 30 minutes' drive. Andy (the owner) takes care of his visitors and is of very good advice for the visits, restaurants bookings, etc. I just felt at home ... Don't hesitate and stay there, you won't be disappointed !

yep, touristic offfer in champagne is surprisingly poor, and this one cofirms the rule. It's just somehow sad and poorly maintained. Breakfast is not bad, and it's not good. Rooms are depressing. Truth be said, price is honest.

Chosen for the location, this suited us as we wanted to explore the cham[agne area. Our host was relaxed and extremely helpful, with maps and suggestions about the area. Though I am fairly fluent in French, it was so much easier to discuss things in English. Our romm was large and comfortable with big en suite. A very good champagne house is at the end of the road.

We recently spent three nights here and it was first rate. Andy, the owner and host is always around to help with anything and he spent a great deal of his time researching things for us, not only locally but for our next spots, which we greatly appreciated. Our room was very comfortable and had a good bathroom and good shower. The WiFi worked well in our room. Breakfast is just right to start the day and the village itself is very quaint. It is close to other villages and the larger centres of Epernay and Reims. We would highly recommend this property to others.

We stayed at No8 last year (June 2014) so this is a slightly belated review. We stayed in the Annexe for 4 nights. Our room was lovely, very clean and well presented. We were also able to make use of the space downstairs so a couple of nights we could have a baguette and salad having had a large lunch out earlier. We were also able to use the garden and enjoy the sun with a glass of wine or champagne. Andy the host was very attentative and helpful with local advice on places to visit, booking us in to the local restaurant (Sillery, which was excellent) and other useful info such as directions to the cheapest petrol station (thanks Andy, we did find it!). Traditional, quality french breakfast which we enjoyed. The location is ideal for exploring this champagne region and it was nice to walk round the village and enjoy the sunset over the vineyards.

Andy wade is a great host. This B&B is spotless and very charming. It is literally in the champagne fields with a Champagne company (with tasting) about 300 meters away. The house is great with a large living room where you can enjoy your bubbly at night. Breakfast is fine but nothing special. Overall a very good experience In fact, I am returning in sept.

We spent a comfortable and relaxing two nights at Andy's B&B. It is in a lovely old home but the bathroom was large with a great walk in shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The village is small but it takes no time to reach restaurants in other villages or Rheims. Andy is the perfect host., very knowledgeable about the region and we found him most helpful. If you wanted to chat he was willing and forthcoming. At the same time he would leave you to enjoy his sitting room without interuption if that is what you wanted. His wifi was quick and a nice change for us as we had been traveling for over 7 weeks and have found it frustrating and slow most often. Parking is no problem on his property. Thank you Andy it was a pleasure meeting you.

"Take the annex - two rooms (one double, one twin), each with its own bathroom, with shared living space. Breakfast served in the main house, as for the other B&B rooms."
