Sabine really is a very generous hostess who made delicious breakfasts, acted as tour guide and local historian and most importantly made us feel very welcome in her beautiful home. The rooms are large and comfortable and Vernuil is well situated between Reims and Epernay. The Blin champagne is also as delicious as others describe so even if you don't... More

We stayed 2 nights at Le Havre du Percheron with our 2 young children. We were made to feel very welcome, the rooms were all beautifully decorated/restored, and the village location very charming. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and we enjoyed learning about the local history. Close to both Epernay and Reims by car. Would recommend this B&B without hesitation... More

However short your stay at Le Havre du Percheron you will not forget it. The enthusiam and local knowledge of your host Sabine and her aim to help you make the most of your stay will ensure you have lasting memories to take home. The village itself is quite unexceptional but there are many places to visit in the champagne... More

We stayed unfortunately only one night in this beautiful B&B on our way from Paris back to Berlin. We wished we could have stayed longer! Sabine is an outstanding host, she made us feel very welcome in her home and we really enjoyed talking to her with a glas of champagne under the old trees. We learned a lot about... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and did not want to leave! Sabine and Simon are amazingly gracious hosts and go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. Our visit was based on a long list of referrals from friends and Sabine remembered every one of them :) The spacious rooms are elegantly appointed in a charming French style like... More

We feel privileged to be able to share this wonderful chambres d'hote with other trip advisor travellers. Just as others have commented, Sabine's passion for their beautifully renovated home is infectious and charming. The setting is lovely with a stream and old mill in the back garden, the cherry trees which yielded fresh fruit for our breakfast also provided shade... More

Sabine and Simon Blin, the owners of this very special home, could not have made our stay any more enjoyable. The property is in the heartland of the Champagne Region, with two beautifully appointed spacious accommodations, in the middle of the little village of Verneuil. We drove the Wine Route, and with Sabine's expert guidance and knowledge, were able to... More

A little oasis in a tiny village in Champagne, Le Havre du Percheron is a delight. It's quiet, the rooms are perfect, large and well-appointed, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. Run by the Blin family, Sabine went out of her way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was a culinary treat preparing us for each day... More

Ditch your teeny, expensive hotel room in Paris and jump on the Peripherique (the mad ring road that surrounds the city). After just an hour and a half, through rolling green farmland - voila! Le Havre du Percheron in the Champagne region is literally, a “haven”, offering up a slice of authentic French life, the likes of which you could... More

This is a fabulous B&B - spotlessly clean and generous room sizes, beautifully decorated made this almost like a boutique hotel. The Blin family were delightful hosts with Sabine producing the most delicious breakfasts everyday that would have fed an army. Our three children got on very well with their two, which was a huge bonus too !

“The website for this property shows the rooms beautifully. If you are traveling with children, one room has adjoining 2nd room with twin beds and private bath for these two spaces. The front of house has a lovely king bed and private bath. We chose the back room and it was so quiet and lovely.”
