This is a really good pub - they have a couple of real ales and do excellent food. Currently the safety measures are all in place and tables are well spaced and staff are on the ball. Eaten in and used the take away service recently. Decent variety of food - some traditional and some more modern meals.
Great place.... excellent service...... and lovely food. Felt totally safe and at ease with the Covid requirements put in place will visit again. Dog friendly too which is a bonus but also not uncomfortable if your not dog lovers.
This restaurant is our favourite place to dine out and with all the Covid safety measurements in place it is also the safest restaurant we have visited since reopening after lockdown . Food is excellent and portion sizes plentiful with much variety to choose from including specials board as well as main menu. Each meal is cooked fresh to order and all staff are extremely friendly and efficient and bend over backwards to help in anyway. We visit from Bridlington on a regular basis so if you have not eaten here yet get yourself to this gem of a Hotel/Restaurant you will not be disappointed Helen and Shaun Hageman
We were staying at a local hotel and we wanted to try the above hotels food. The atmosphere was awful and the service was poor. Food was expensive and not that good. My daughter was staying in the hotel and my grand children came to say hello to the family at the table, and the jobsworth waitress came and told us that there was to many rope at the table so my grandchildren could not Evan say hello to us. Absolutely awful place to stay or go for a meal.
