This is really what it says on the signs, a Casa Rurale. Stunning views and utter peace and quiet. Patriek is the chef - make sure you leave room on your waistline because the food is terrific. He caters with the utmost attention to dietary requirements. Bernadette is "the management" and the attention to detail and guest needs is 2nd...

This was my second visit to la Haza and was made extra special as I celebrated my birthday whilst there. The setting, the welcome, the room and especially the food made this break really relaxing and memorable. We opted to eat in on all 4 nights of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed every dish Patriek cooked for us. As this...

We found Cortijo La Haza in the Alistair Sawday Guide and were immediately drawn to it by the promise of excellent food (always an integral part of where we choose to stay). What we found was a little piece of rural heaven with views to die for. Add to that a beautiful setting with ample places in shade or sun...

First of all I have just spent the worst seven days (weather wise) I have ever known, cold, windy and horizontal rain so any review of a 'place' will be coloured by this disappointment. Without doubt the Hotel is in a beautiful spot with views over meandering olive groves to the mountains in the distance and the swimming pool would...

Where do I begin?!? I have stayed at Cortijo La Haza a few times now... and it is always incredible! Bernadette is a wonderful, welcoming host. Patriek is a magician in the kitchen (some of the best food I have had in Spain!!). The Cortijo itself is perfect - tucked into the olive trees, cozy, tasteful rooms, an infinity pool...

Just back from a wonderful week at La Haza. Bernadette and Patriek could not have been more hospitable. La Haza is brilliantly placed for visiting the sites of Classical Spain (and we did!), along very quiet roads, and it was wonderful to return each evening to Patriek's delicious cooking. Bernadette took all the hassle out of each day-trip with advice...

This is a hidden gem in the midst of rural Andalucia, surrounded by olive groves, yet within an hours drive of Malaga, Córdoba and Granada. It's the perfect place to go to relax and unwind with welcoming hosts who can't do enough for you! There is a beautiful pool and patio area with stunning views and the rooms are rustic...

On arrival we were met by Patrick & Burnadette, and a welcome drink beer was greatly appreciated. Our room, No 3, is up steps and is private. It was very clean and tidy for the price. We decided to have dinner here, just perfect. A lovely three course meal cooked by Patrick. We would stay again and recommend to those...

Feeling at home in this cosy place that is professionally run. A very nice accommodation with authentic rooms. Bernadette and Patriek go out of their way to advise you on the many different activities in the area. Dinner as well as breakfast is a real pleasure.

After a week jammed packed with visits (three per day approx) we had arranged to go to Bernadette's and Patriek's for some serious relaxing. The moment we arrived we knew it was going to be wonderful with a warm welcome by our lovely friends B and P and then taken to our quiet rustic room where we had wonderful sleeps....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A beautifully restored 250-year old olive cortijo, hidden away amongst the olive groves south of Iznajar, with stunning, ever-changing views of the Sierra Nevada and the valleys. 6-star service, home from home, a little corner of paradise are but a few items of praise we have received.
