We spent a week at Cortijo Las Rosas in July. We were lucky enough to stay in Casita Perdiz, which was both beautifully presented & well equipped. The master bedroom was spacious with clean & extremely comfortable bedding. We thoroughly recommend the welcome pack which Marylynne & Gillian had kindly adapted to cater for our vegetarian/vegan diets. The produce was...

We had a really good time here. It is very isolated area but with that comes extremely tranquility. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful giving us directions and tips for Granada and other local areas, including a great restaurant and the archeology dig near by with stunning views. The room was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped...

We spent a beautiful 5 days at Cortijo Las Rosas in August. We stayed in the larger Casita Perdiz which is a beautiful self contained 2 bedroom maisonette with it's own internal courtyard, bbq and very well equipped kitchen. The accommodation itself is very well presented and everything works as it is supposed to. There is a second bedroom in...

If you are looking for an incredible piece of Spanish paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the over-populated, maddening tourist holiday spots, this is definitely the best place to go. Arriving after a stunning drive through mountains of olive trees stretching out as far as the eye can see, we reached the beautifully restored Cortijo located in a...

We spent a week in Andalucia and we really enjoyed our stay at the Casita Liebre. Everything was just perfect! The casita is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped, as described on the pictures. The environment is quiet, as it is in the middle of olive trees! We had a warm welcome from Gillian and Marylynne. They were always there when...

Beautiful cortijo in the middle of the andalucian mountains, completely peaceful, stunning views, fabulous accommodation and very gracious hosts! Cannot speak highly enough of this place! Just spent 10 nights here with the family and it was amazing! Hardly any wifi or phone signal but I can't think of a better way or place to switch off, local village is...

My partner, Gareth, & I took my mother who was visiting us from NZ to spend a week relaxing in Andalucia with some exploration of the region thrown into the mix. Our week staying in the Cortijo was superb - the service from Gillian and Marylynne was excellent - always going that extra mile to make us welcome and ensure...

One week of pure disconnect from emails, phone calls and the rush of work... In the middle of nowhere but not far from several very Spanish, very Andalucian villages and towns, Cortijo Las Rosas is the place to find true tranquility and impeccable comfort. Set with much decorative gusto, Las Rosas has nearly everything going for it: - 3 separate...

WE spent 10 wonderful nights in the Perez Casita during a 7 week European tour. This was the best place to explore - Granada, Malage, Rhonda, and all the surrounding villages and experiences were absolutely epic. Gillian and Marylynne were wonderful hosts, happy to share the local secrets and send us out on some great adventures. The Casita was extremely...

Relaxing, beautiful, a good place to unwind, as many previous reviews have said. Gillian and Marylynne are so welcoming, and helpful in explaining everything, providing guidebooks and maps and suggestions for days out. The casitas are both simple and stylish, and beautifully appointed. The "welcome pack" is a great idea. But we most of all enjoyed being outside by the...

“There are 3 separate casitas all of the highest standard, however be sure to pay attention to the owners' advice on the type of vehicle to bring as the final track to the casitas is an unmade track; however we had a Fiat Panda (not by choice) but managed adequately.”
