This is on the small and laid back Island of Sifnos. I found The Niriedes Hotel in an online search. Prior to arriving, Thanos the owner had emailed us with details of how to get there. He suggested we hire s car and recommended a company. We had never been to a Greek Island - did not know what to expect and it was sensational. The rooms.are apartments all with Terraces, the views are extraordinary and Thanos and Anthi, the owners were fabulous. I almost don’t want to write this review so we could keep this wonderful place s secret, but I can’t Nirieds Hotel needs to be shared. It’s a boutique hotel small but perfect. We loved it.

this was our 2nd Island in four, and I would say one of the best hotels we have stayed in whilst in Greece! Fabulous apartment /room with a downstairs living area and kitchenette with a balcony with a great view of the sea. Upstairs a fabulous room with a second balcony, great shower room and large wardrobe with plenty of space with Ironing board. Came equipped with a fully stocked mini bar. The pool area was ideal- again with a view to the sea. As for the breakfast- well what can I say- enough to feed an army! and all locally sourced ingredients to the Island. Sifnos being a culinary delight. The fresh pastries every day were from the managers father in law who has a bakery on the Island. Fresh juice and coffee, breads, ham local cheese, eggs of your choice and fruits an yoghurt. You certainly wouldn't need any lunch after that. The owners are so polite and friendly and even got to meet Roxy the dog. they even offered suggestions of trips and how to visit them. This Island was definitely our favourite with so much to do, they even offered recommendations for restaurants. I would love to come back and if I did I would definitely stay at this hotel The hotel also offers a selection of meals should you wish to eat there.

This was our first trip to Sifnos and Niriedes - but not the last. We enjoyed every moment of our stay at this wonderful place. The view is amazing. The rooms are all different and all very very nice. The owners/hosts are the nicest people - always very helpfull, had good suggestions to everything from hiking routes to restaurants. The breakfast is the best - with all kinds of delicious things from the bakery of the owners father. The VIP rooms have a very nice terrasse with amazing view over the bay - but you also get a very nice view from the other rooms. The rooms are very nicely decorated and extremely clean. Nice bed - the best we had on our trip this summer. The beach is just down the stairs from the hotel - and nice restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket is also just down the stairs in the nice bay. The beach is wonderful - the sand is clean and the water crystalclear. You can rent beachchairs (5 euros per day) and you get beachtowels at the hotel. The owners are very helpfull and can help you with taxi, car rental, ferry questions and much more. Even suggestions for restaurants in Athens :) If you go to Sifnos - and you are not on a tight budget - this is the place to stay.

This was the first island on our visit and this boutique is outstanding!! Our room had three balconies, a view of the dock and beach, and an amazing breakfast! Our hosts are so accommodating!! They offered great trips to take by foot and had several good recommendations for restaurants! This island is amazing to visit and can easily get around to other villages as the bus system is top notch!! I highly recommended this boutique!! Thank you!!!!
