Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

In the top 3 of campsites I’ve been to. Almost level and smooth ground for a tent. Very quiet. No heavy traffic. Excellent tv reception. Electric hook up. Good size pitchs. Surrounded by fields and countryside. Good toilet and shower facilities with a nice looking shower block under construction. Good access to the Somerset levels and various towns around

This was our 2nd year camping at this site and we can't fault it. Quiet, clean, well kept, perfect for how we like to camp. The owners couldn't be more helpful, letting my teenage son pitch his small tent alongside our family tent. Would highly recommend it for a peaceful camping trip😀

A nice quiet site, with good views, could be so much better with little effort, unfortunately the toilets and shower spoil what is a decent little campsite, they were never cleaned in our 3 day stay, there's a mop and bucket, but no cleaning fluid, which is rather pointless as your using a mop with dirty water, there is no pot washing facility, a simple outdoor sink would suffice, however, it's cheap and has good views, but there's no need for dirty wash facilities when it could be easily rectified.

Stayed here last week with my wife and 15 yr old granddaughter. We had a touring caravan, awning plus add on bedroom annex the pitch, no. 6 was more than big enough. Linda and her husband were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble really great service and we were made to feel so very welcome. Very clean well kept facilities although a bit on the small side but they are adding more to this I believe. You can pick fresh herbs and tomatoes a very nice touch. Handy for Glastonbury and surrounding area will def revisit and recommend etc. A great little gem of a site. Thanks to all both owners and staff for making our stay so lovely ❤️

We stayed here over Easter and it was a really lovely little site. We had not chosen a farm site before but it was really delightful. The lady who welcomed us was very nice and helped us pick a plot for us. She told us about all the nature which I loved. We saw deer across the field. We heard owls at nite.the little toilet and shower block was spotless and well decorated. There’s some improvements being made and the grass being re seeded. There will be a wildflower area soon. We loved the peace and quiet and the walks we could take from the site across footpaths and into woods full of bluebells. We will go back when ever we go back to. RSPB Ham Wall

Many thanks for taking the time to write about our site. We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We are encouraging as much wildlife as we can into the area. All of our farmland is organic, we don't use sprays, this allows many wildflowers to thrive in our pastures, we are also creating a conservation area, as you mentioned, to bring "back from the brink" a lovely but rare little bumblebee called the Shrill Carder. We look forward to seeing you again.

We stayed here in August 2018 and the weather was beautiful. There were only 3 pitches being used but the campsite was lovely. It was so quiet and relaxing with stunning views. If it had been fuller I think they could have done with more showers and toilets but as it was quiet it was fine. The pitches were a good size but there were no fully serviced pitches. There were lovely homely touches with tubs of flowers and a small herb garden which you could pick what you needed. Although the owners didn't live on the site there was plenty of information in a pretty little shed to let you know of everything going on in and around the area. You are not allowed to bring dogs here because of cattle in adjoining fields. I would definitely visit this campsite again.

Many thanks for your lovely comments. We are building a much larger toilet, shower, washing up block on our campsite which will address your concerns regarding the size of the current toilet block on site in our busier periods. The new block has Ladies and Gents facilities and will also provide access to less abled persons too, we are also providing a much larger washing up area. Hopefully the building will be ready for the Summer this year (2019). We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

The location is excellent for exploring the Somerset Levels. Situated next to Route 3 cycleroute. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Level site, quiet, very clean toilet block and helpful information in the on-site hut. The Ring O Bells pub at Ashcott, just 15 mins walk from the campsite, is great too. Would definitely return.

What a gem of a campsite. Not huge on facilities buy everything you need: spacious, level pitches, spotlessly clean showers and toilets, friendly, helpful owners who obviously take great pride in maintaining their site and peace and quiet. Thankyou
