This is my second stay at Harptree court, my first being a business trip and this time celebrating our anniversary with my wife. Linda and Charles are the perfect hosts and make you feel very at home. Nothing is to much trouble and the breakfast is exceptional. Thank you for making our time there special and we look forward to...

Wow what can I say... we had an amazing stay at Harptree Court in the stunning treehouse. My boyfriend booked this for us for a birthday treat and it topped all expectations. We received a very warm welcome from Charles and Linda who had baked us a delicious lemon drizzle cake and supplied us with local produce to make breakfast...

I stayed here for one night in November, the whole experience was excellent. Right for the booking, through to arrival, the lovely country house bedroom and Linda's wonderful breakfast. I cannot commend it high enough Will certainly be back for a return visit in the summer months when the gardens are at their best.

My fiancé and I stayed in the treehouse for our 5 year anniversary in November. I'd booked it as a surprise for him (he thought we were going camping, which had not gone down well!!) and we were both delighted when we arrived. Totally secluded in the grounds it is the perfect couples get away. No TV was a bonus,...

Wonderful grand Georgian house and as we were the only guests (we stayed on a Sunday) it Felt that we had booked the whole guest accomodation. Welcomed with tea and home made lemon drizzle cake in the guest sitting room. We stayed in lavender room which had a great view of the walls and well tended to gardens. Room was...

The house and the grounds are stunning and the bedrooms and bathrooms are magnificent. In addition Linda's breakfasts are...

A beautiful Georgian house in Somerset surrounded by lovely countryside with close proximity to Wells, Bath and Bristol and some lovely pubs for evening meals. We stayed in the Yellow Room, which was twin bedded and has every luxurious comfort one might hope for. The room has beautiful views over the countryside, particularly at this time of year in the...

No words, just a splendid place. Modest in its stateliness, the building is well kept, creeper-clad set in wide tended lawns. Large bedroom (Pink, though without any obvious pink decor?) Sitting area, wardrobes, large bath with separate shower and tub. Breakfasts were first rate in a pleasant "morning room." Linda and Charles are friendly folks, literally staying up until the...

Just the place for rest, relaxation, peace and tranquility. On arrival we were offered tea and homemade lemon drizzle cake - Linda’s specialty. Breakfast is freshly cooked to perfection. Crispy bacon, local sausage, Harptree eggs, tasty mushrooms and tomatoes. Fresh toast with Charles's homemade raspberry jam or marmalade and don't forget to use the strainer as it is loose leaf...

Plush, elegant 18th century rooms - the house is a Georgian treat and its garden, though modest, has a genuine country house feel. Comfortable bed which was a huge relief after a long day of driving and a very relaxing proper bathtub. Breakfast was delicious and simple and not hurry to get up and rush about. The hosts were friendly...
