OK for 2 star or bad 3 star hotel but not for 4. Old dust and spiderwebs, worn-out towels, no maintenance of floor etc. See pictures. Unfriendly employees. 1 young girl with white shirt was helpfull. We had a room in the old part. The drunken son of the owner kept us up at night while yelling with his friend.... More

The staff and the welcome is very freindly. The site is OK in the winefields. Room is spacious. The restaurant is very good . One big let down : many rooms give directly on to a car-park cum service yard. Don't go here if you are looking for a sleepy lie-in . You'll be awake at 6:30 with doors banging... More

Room was comfortable, with liquid soap and hair dryer provided. Nice balcony but room was on the small side. Restaurant was very good. Nice quiet location, although there was some construction work going on next to the hotel. The surrounding vineyards make for a picturesque location. Construction work on the road from Trier had us in stop-and-go traffic for a... More

Little bit away from Trier but easily connected by bus, sourounded by wineyard. There is a nice public outdoor swimming pool near by. The room wasn't very big but looking at wineyard with balcony. The staff were very nice, especially at the restaurant. Food wasn't expensive and very correct. Breakfast was very good, again service was very attentive. Only down... More

I stayed at the Weingut Weis with my mother and aunt for one night as we toured the beautiful city of Trier. My aunt had been in charge of booking this leg of our trip, and she booked us here. Upon arrival, we were awed by the rolling vineyards. Absolutely stunning! We also noticed that the entire building smelled like... More

I´ve stayed in many hotels around the world. But this one is so near the top of the best. Not only is the hotel spotless but the staff is "spotless" as well. Had a room that was spacious, well appointed, and had a balcony. (As a smoker in a smoke-less world, the balcony was my respite. and found that the... More

We stayed here for three nights on our way to Luxembourg. It is a working vineyard, and the wine is good! The Hotel is spotless and the staff are genuine in trying to help. Little English is spoken, but if you try a litle German, you get by. The locals seem to enjoy the restaurant. which is also very good.... More

I stayed here about 4-5 times the last 4 years. It is a good place to visit Trier (5 min by car to the city centre) and Luxembourg (about 40 km to drive-it takes 30 min via the Motorway) to avoid the very expensive Luxembourg gastronomy. I stayed in a single room (quite small but ok for one night). The... More

We've made overnight stays here twice. Rooms have both looked out over the vineyards and the Ruwer valley and were well equipped (but the wireless internet didn't work except in the reception area). Hotel has a nice quiet location. Big car park. The restaurants (4 separate rooms in total) must be very popuplar with locals as they were almost full... More
