I had a stay at Westin Siray Bay on 12-13 April 2024. I would say I love the location, the staffs (everyone) were very nice with a good service. Everything was sooo good, I love it. However, the food was totally bot that good. I deduct 2 points because of the food.

A stay at the Westin , following my husband’s stay in hospital , turned out to be a perfect place to relax and recuperate whilst waiting for a return flight home. A huge THANK YOU to the lovely staff at the hotel reception, restaurants , room attendants and buggy drivers. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming . A special thank you goes to Som who was so supportive and helpful at reception and to all staff at the on site restaurants , serving delicious food and quality service. A special mention goes to Kat , Nat, Far and Thit in our favourite restaurant ,Prego and pool bar , who were always so cheerful and friendly and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff at the Westin are fantastic! Thank you to all!

Our visit was amazing Tina, Pim, and Asis took care of us once we arrived at the resort ! Everything that they did was great ! Great hospitality and I will definitely come back again to see Tina, Pim, Asis were a great team together!! 5/5 and highly recommended!

To say that my family and I enjoyed our stay here is an understatement. The facilities are good. Our housekeeping was on point. The food is out of this world delicious. The staff are brilliant!!! It is the staff who are the pride of the resort. We had the pleasure of being taken care of my the amazing team and we already miss them. By the time we left the staff knew what my son was going to order which was chicken nuggets, mango juice and pasta 😂. It's this attention to detail and welcome that made us so happy to be at the resort. I want to give a big shout-out to those that personally looked after us and made our stay that extra special. Tina the energetic deputy manager who makes sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. @Seasonal Tastes restaurant - Kimberley (the manager who runs the restaurant to a high and hospitable standard), Freda, Mod, Vee, Bell, Bump, Pop, JubJib, June, , Hong, Ploy, Kat (manager at Preggo), Kik (EEST restaurant), @Buggy team - Boo, Sunny, an elderly gentleman at the concierge who was always so warm and friendly towards Mati, @Bar team- Eing (mix bar), Arm (pool bar), Gail. And FINALLY a MASSIVE shout out to the chefs and housekeeping team. We did not get to meet them but they are part of the team that ensured that we had a wonderful trip. I highly recommend this resort and look forward to coming back again ❤️💯

We absolutely love this resort!! The food was incredible and with three convenient restaurants to chose from, there was always delicious menu choices for us to chose from. Be sure to book a room with a private swimming pool, it was convenient and wonderful. What made our trip extra special was the wonderful people that took great care of us; the staff was amazing!! A special thanks to Far, Kat, Nat & for making us feel at home and for teaching us your beautiful language each time we sat down to eat. My wife and I love it here! We love everything about the resort but the people here make it exceptional. We just love Kat her bubbly personality is amazing. Hats off also to Fada Belle and Natt. As a Marriot Bonvoy elite member I selected this hotel as a relaxing stopover for my young family after long flights from the UK, before our onward speedboat transfer to koh lanta the following day. I had booked 2 connecting rooms bit in arrival only 1 was due to be ready. After waiting over an hour we got the first room at 3pm, and went to try and relax by the pool. By 4pm our children were exhausted and really needed a couple of hours sleep so I called reception, only to be told the room still wasn't ready and they would get back to me. They never happened. I phoned again at 5 pm, then went to reception at 6.30 pm to be told housekeeping still needed to check it. We went to dinner and after a heated discussion we finally got our 2nd room key at 8pm. I asked to speak to the duty manager but was told she was busy in a meeting and couldn't talk to me so we went to bed. When I checked out the following morning, i was served by the duty manager and once my bill had been settled I raised the issues with her. My point being that paying for 2 rooms is of no use when I don't get access to one of the rooms until late in the evening. The manager apologised and offered to award me some bonus Marriot points un compensation, and also promised to write to me to explain what went wrong with her team in that day. The Marriot points were awarded, but no follow up communication has been received. This isn't the first time a Marriot group property has let me down lately, and probably explains why I now choose alternative brands in preference. This could have been a wonderful stay, in a wonderful property. The food in the restaurant was amazing, but it is totally unacceptable that a paid for room is not available until 8pm especially when it was meant for young children...and caused quite simply through bad staff communication and training. The employees at this location set the stage for 5-star hospitality during my first visit to Thailand. Starting with one of the warmest of welcomes and ending with a gratitude filled goodbye, with humility and kindness in between. Each request is met with a smile and an above and beyond sense of desire to help.

Special shout out to the chef at Seasonal Tastes for preparing indian vegan food outside their menu on our request. Prego too fulfilled our food specifications. Great rooms, clean and amazing sea views. We had a small lizard visitor in our room on the second day and the staff promptly sent someone to shoo it away :) Some rooms on second floor do not have a lift. Our request for a room which could be reached without a staircase was fulfilled, though after first being assigned a room with stairs.

Not as easy a meet as with other hotels on arrival at the airport, waited for some time for the driver to arrive, simple check in and good explanation of facilities. We had a pool villa all inclusive - first issue the AI drinks are very restrictive, pay extra for sparkling water but not soda water….thankfully this was resolved by the hotel, but really didn’t make sense…we dined in Prego each night as food and service was very good. Service at the main lunch restaurant couldn’t be said the same unfortunately 90 mins for lunch and our drinks came out after main course…the big challenge however was the room, simple things that should be checked, TV work - oh no, patio door lock - oh no, plunge pool actually able to be used - oh no. The water was so hot in the plunge pool it was unusable, additionally the noise from the pool system at night was unbearable. We raised every issue with the hotel via the app and whilst they were apologetic didn’t do anything about the main issues and upon check out just ignored the fact that our stay was so poor we’d checked out 2 days early!
