Spent one night here really great place. Marguerite & Pyers were great hosts and we had a fabulous dinner and breakfast. Really different for us as we usually book a hotel but this was fantastic experience.

My wife and I just stayed at Clonalis House and had a fantastic time. This estate and 1870 mansion is lovingly cared for by Mr. & Mrs. O'Connel who are extraordinary hosts. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and very special. The library with fireplace was very hard to leave in evening. While the house was elegant and perfect, The...

I stayed at the Garden Cottage for one week. It was prefect. It faces south, the bedrooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms plenty and the living area spacious. I loved the open fire in the living area and size of the room as I had friends visiting. The owners are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. the quaintness of the house...

Very much enjoyed my visit to Clonalis House. The very knowledgable guided tours of the house are a must for history lovers visiting the West of Ireland. The house and grounds are kept in impeccable condition while still having a lovely family ambiance. Don't miss trying out their homemade tarts, breads and preserves - delicious! The house has small amount...

Clonalis House is over the top! My wife and I felt welcome and home from the very first moment until we left. We spent two nights in August 2016 and consider this to be the best stay during our visit to Ireland. Letitia, Margreth and Pierce O'Connor were all super hospitable and very welcoming. We loved tea time in the...

My husband and I recently spent two delightful nights at this spectacular property and wished we. could have stayed longer. We arrived later then expected on our first night but were warmly greeted in the impressive entrance hall by the hostess and her daughter. We were ushered into the library where a roaring fire added to the cozy atmosphere of...

A beautiful estate! We were warmly welcomed yesterday and having visited many historical houses I must say, this one was unique - our guide was excellently informed about the estate. Any reader would love to see the library, books that date back to the 16 century, the family are wonderful to have it available for public viewing. Truly not to...

Historic, warm and comfortable setting, guest rooms, and library sitting room. Would go there again and again. Our bed was deliciously comfortable and luxurious. The dinner was spectacular; and you really felt like royalty while eating in the royal dining room. The breakfasts were also tasty and healthy. With such gracious hosts, everything felt personalized.

This home is not to be missed. Architecturally and historically significant, this is one of the finer Hidden Ireland houses. Ireland and the public are very lucky the family offers access to the public. I have visited many houses and castles in Ireland as I am a member of the Irish Georgian Society and it would be tough to top...

Our hosts were gracious, the estate is beautiful and the charm and style you saw in Downton Abbey is in this estate. The bedroom and bathroom which we stayed in were huge and looked out over the front of the estate. Every detail of this property was spot on and the family was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast in...
