Is well positioned to Smiggin. Staff and owner are very friendly. The food was very good. It also had a great homely feel. Children raced around the lodge unfettered - might be a bit much for some. Unfortunately it's in dire need of thorough clean. The medium family room is tiny 4x2meters. For a family of four with luggage this... More

This place rules. Booked for my fiancée and a friend for two nights, wish we could have stayed longer. It's not the fanciest lodge in the world, but it's clean and warm and cozy, and everyone there is welcoming and awesome. The food (breakfast and dinner) was included and was perfect, turning my fruity dietary requirements into gourmet fare. Cheers... More

Kids and I just had the best break at Lodge 21. The owner and staff were amazing and the meals were divine. Kids loved breakfast trivia with Jim. Felt so much like home. Lovely atmosphere with incredible hospitality. Would totally recommend to friends and families

Every year I go back. I love this place. So yep, over time I have definitely become friends with the manager and staff. And yes it's old, it's an old historical Snowy Hydro building, with plenty of character. So If you're after newer more modern room... quad-rippleish your budget and look at the Perisher Valley Hotel. Lodge 21 is located... More

Lodge 21 has a great location, just across the carpark from the lifts at Smiggin Holes. The staff were friendly, but the owner needs to put a lot more work into this place. It looks like it has not been updated for many, many years. There are holes in the walls, the fixtures are falling off, some of the wiring... More

We were welcomed by the very lovely Kelly (who whizzed our room with a vacuum cleaner whilst we were unpacking our car!). Everyone gathers by the cosy fire in the evenings and then they ring the dinner bell and you get a fab meal (during our stay - cooked by Kelly and MacGregor themselves). Kelly had an answer to every... More

A home on the snow, where the pretentious stick so commonly found firmly lodged high in on snow accommodation is left at the front door. On walking through the front door we were welcomed with a feeling of welcome home and felt like were back to see old friends and we had never layed eyes on these people before. The... More

A can of Glen 20 and container of pine-o-clean disinfectant wipes, which we had to drive 20 mins to Jindabyne to buy, still didn't make this place tolerable for a friends wedding.(Oh and the 2 bottles of red we're drinking to cope didn't either!!) By far the worst place we've stayed in, oh, maybe ever! Bathroom isn't an en suite... More

i recently stayed at lodge 21 and like all the other reviews the place is in the best location in smiggins no doubt. Great location if you are wearing ice skates as I fell and skated down the driveway with skis in hand and have the bruised ribs to go with it. If you want to party all night and only have a couple of hours sleep, hear everything that goes on in the whole lodge and be served basic 3 course meal... More
