Beautiful spacious room with a sofa, fireplace and stairs up to the bathroom. The hosts were very welcoming and forthcoming about the history of the place. Some lovely touches like complimentary sherry and homemade items for breakfast.

Great BnB with lovely hosts who spent time explaining the local history of the station and other points of interest in the area. The room was decorated with beautiful antique furnishings and breakfast was lovely.

We stayed here for 3 nights before and after doing the 3 capes walk. The building which has undergone a few renovations has a lot of history as Lyntton your host explains when you arrive. We stayed in 3 different rooms each with its own unique decor. All comfortable and cosy. The continental breakfast had a lot to choose from...

I arrived here after dark, so did not really have a chance to enjoy the wonderful surroundings until the morning. It is on such a lovely site! The room was quite cosy and warm on a chilly autumn night. I loved the library full of books and other lovely, tasteful touches that decorate the place. Breakfast with freshly baked bread...

We were really taken back at the location, sitting on the verandah watching people jump and swim from the pier. Linton was really knowledge about the area and suggested we visit the Coal Mines which we did what a surprise. Loved the sitting room going through all the books. The room was great. Enjoyed our stay.

Loved staying here and hopefully will be able to revisit sometime. Beautiful rooms and house; loved the sitting room with Port and its the extensive library, the knowledgeable hosts and of course the freshly backed bread in the morning! Only wished the fire was going in the evenings as it was a tiny bit chilly, but probably should have asked...

The NBCS is a well appointed B&B situated in easy proximity to the Port Arthur Historic Site, which is well worth a visit. The B&B was built by convicts, so it is a rare opportunity for Australians to stay in an authentically historic building. I would definitely stay there again.

Great room, wonderful breakfast, good value. Loved the sitting room with fire and port. We only stayed one night before doing the Three Capes Walk - a great location for this - but could easily have stayed longer as there is lots to do in the area.

This was the oldest B&B we stayed at and as the name suggests it was built by convicts in the early days of Tasmania. The wing we stayed in was built in the 1840's. it has been tastefully modernized within the walls and is a very comfortable accommodation. Our host Nathan was very knowledgeable of the immediate area and provided...

We stayed here the day before our three cape track walk and after we completed the walk. Out hosts went out of their way to make us welcome and explain the history of this unique property and its link with Port Arthur. Relaxing in the evening in front of the log fire talking to other guests was an enjoyable experience....
