We have stayed at both Nest and Nest2 on our trip North and back. I wish the stay was longer. The place is beautiful, the stuff is friendly, the area around full of hidden jems. Our favorite was Nest 2. Very good Thai restaurant on site.

We have just had our third stay at the nest in three years. As usual the staff were lovely and the food was superb. We were staying in new huts they have build near the swimming pool which were great. Our only concern this time was noise; when we first found this lovely place it was a really quiet retreat... We booked for 3 nights im Nest 2, based on the Lonely Planet star. Maybe we are pampered too much and what can one expect for THB 1,000, even in Thaiand? Anyhow, we left after the first night because of the terrible bed and the terrible food (see review of the restaurant). Fine for backpackers, but we should have known... More

stayed in nest 1 for two nights with friends of ours. Had two separate cabins (they offered us a cabin in Nest 1 so that we could save some money & have airco but we preferred the atmosphere in Nest1). Cabins clean & cozy, good bathroom en-suite but.... no sound proofing so you hear everything, normally a great thing in... More

Stayed 2 nights in Nest 2. The advantages of Nest 2 are that it has aircon rooms, the "huts" are not so close together and the grounds and views are better than Nest 1. Nest 1 is an easy10 minute walk away (but beware of the dogs) and has an international restaurant whereas Nest 2 has a Thai restaurant. Prices... More

I have stayed at the nest with my wife several times and we have had an excellent experience every time. The food is awesome, the rooms are well set up (although there is no aircon) the beds are very comfortable, the staff are great, and the setting is stunning. It is really just a beautiful place for relaxing and lazing... More

No pool where I was, no tv, no fridge, the soap was like wax, empty, soulless. For the 900b you should get more. Should have been less than half the price. The walk to the pool was about 5ks away along a hot dusty boring road. The garden surrounds were plane and not taking advantage of the environment, surrounds or... More

While the accommodation is rustic thats the only basic thing about this place. The views and garden are great. But what really makes this place is the fantastic food and service from these wonderful people. Puk ( pronounced Po) and her staff at nest 1 are amazing. Nest 2 Thai food is nearly the best I've eaten. It is a... More
