A very quite and relaxing hotel, the room with balcony was exceptionally clean overlooking a small lake. Used the restaurant for our evening meal, everything was cooked fresh (expect to wait a while) and the portions were huge. We can certainly recommend this hotel if you want peace and quiet we stayed on a Thursday night so we are not...

Dear Neil, Thank you for staying at our nature park resort in Chiang Dao and your review in Tripadvisor. Even if we are fully booked, the resort is still very quiet, as we are on 80 000 m2 and the rooms are spread out over the resort. Once again thank you for staying and hopefully we can welcome you again...

Stayed here for a night during a road trip in the Chiang Mai region. Overall a very good experience, staff very friendly and helpful, good food, cool location in a wooded area and clean rooms with AC and free wifi throughout the resort. The only slight dampener on the stay was the breakfast but considering the price paid was pretty...

Dear Matthew, Thank you for staying at our nature park resort in Chiang Dao and your review in TripAdvisor. In the rainy season (May-Oct) you might face some problems about the mozzies during daytime, but this is everywhere in Thailand and the tropics. In "winter" season or dry season (Nov-Mar/Apr) we hardly have any mozzies. Maybe some around dawn. In...

We went to Marisa to escape the noise of Chiang Mai and stayed for 7 nights with 2 young children. Beautiful scenery surrounds the resort which is lovely and quiet. Staff are very helpful and thoughtful (when it started raining, umbrellas appeared for us outside our room). The resturant on site provides good food in a wonderful an fresco setting....

I came to Chiang Dao to escape the city life and to enjoy a quiet, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. After doing extensive research, I decided to stay at Marisa Resort. It was exactly how I expected to be and enjoyed every part of my stay. Not to mention it is incredibly close to many tourist attractions and caverns. I...

After a crazy few days in Phuket, it was nice to slow things way down in Chiang Dao while staying here. The sprawling resort & spa seems more like a high-class summer camp in the Thai mountainside.
