Booked last minute, so glad we did. Room was lovely, clean, warm and quiet with nice size shower. Breakfast was amazing,we both had the cornish breakfast along with toast and cereal, couldn't want for anything else. Came to visit the Eden project and this pub was well situated for that. Lovely open fire by bar, nice to cozy up next to with a cider... More

We booked last week at almost last minute looking for a cheap stopover for the night. We were extremely happy to get to the Crown and find such an amazing place. It is one of the nicest B&B's we have ever stayed in. Very quiet and peaceful, very comfortable and a very picturesque location. We had an evening meal in... More

This pub is great! With the low beams and the cosy corners to nestle up in. The food is fantastic. I ordered the lamb rump... wasn't quite sure what to expect .... but wow, I wasn't disappointed one bit!! My boyfriend ordered the roast dinner. Beef just melted!! Would recommend the ice cream, we shared one which was plenty!! We... More

Stayed at the Crown on a Friday night on our way to St Ives, decided, for the first time, to break the journey. So glad we did, this was an amazing find. Lovely old pub with great food and wine, the breakfast was first class too. Our room was warm and comfortable and we will definitely be staying there again.

We travelled an extra 200miles to stay one night here as searching out ancestors in Lanlivery. We didn't know what to expect. What a find. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Takes you back in time. For very good food, (the prawn sandwiches with a cup of potatoe and leek soup at lunch were amazing. My husband chose rump steak and I had... More

The crown has fast become our local of a weekend! Fabulous food and the guest ales are out of this world! Atmospheric, friendly, welcoming and first class service. Dogs welcome too and it's a perfect way to end a walk, start a walk or have a lunch break mid walk.

I'm on holiday here with my family, I went to this pub tonight with my family and ordered a meal. We sat and waited just under 1 hour for it. Then when I asked where our food was, the lady told us the staff member forgot to put in our order. The manager didn't even bother to come out to... More

The food was good, The breakfast also good. The staff charming. The room was well presented and clean. We took the dog, finding the room a touch small for two of us and the dog. As considerate dog owners we were embarrassed by dog mess in the beer garden that hadn't been picked up, which has also been highlighted in... More

What a find ~ that is once you've found it! Great little country pub used by both locals and grockles alike. A number of rooms in what would have been outbuildings, encircling a lawn at the rear of the pub. We had a family room with a double plus one single bed plus a very large sort of wet room... More

This was a great stay. The village is beautiful and the pub is set in it's centre though has a secluded feel in the beautiful and well kept garden. There is ample parking and the accommodation is in beautifully converted out buildings surroung the garden. The food is excellent and the service very friendly and helpful. The pub itself is...
