We had an amazing stay here. Celebrated our son John Paul's 40th Birthday on 28th November together with our belated 56th Wedding Anniversary (14th October) and our 10th Anniversary as a member with Karma. Will be celebrating my son's MIL 77th Birthday on 1st December before we leave for home on 2nd December. This is our 4th stat at Kandara. We have already a confirmed booking at the newly renovated Karma Jimbaran Bay for April 2024. Our stay at Karma was amazing and beautiful. We are so blessed that the management and staff gave us their excellent services. A special thanks to our CEO/owner of Karma Groups John Spence, Asia Pacific Concierge GM David Hadson, his assistant manager Jessica Whytcross, all their team of Concerige Bali, Kandara Regional GM Shaun his assistant manager pak Totok Muson, Regional Chef Joseph, Regional F&B Director Rai, F&B manager Iwan, supervisor Vivi, FO staff, Ryan and guestsrelation,Housekeeping,maintenance, Spa, beach club and all other staffs. Our stay at Karma Kandara was an exceptional adventure, standing out among the many hotels we've visited. From arrival, warm greetings, and thoughtful surprises like the extravagant anniversary arrangements, this resort knows how to make every moment memorable. The private beach dinner orchestrated by Iwan was sheer perfection, showcasing sunset, candles, champagne, and a mesmerizing fire dance—an experience we'll treasure. Melli's impeccable service during breakfast and the thoughtful departure treat added to our delight. The food was divine, especially the standout burger, and the accommodation, a pristine 2-bedroom villa, was comfortable. Navigating the resort with their zippy buggies was convenient. Although the van service to the beach and club ends by 9 pm, it perfectly suited our morning gym routines but fell short when we wanted a late-night escapade (it really is a minor detail). The spa, with its cloud-like ceiling and breathtaking cliff-side view, offered an otherworldly massage experience. An exclusive private spa overlooking the beach was pure luxury. Budiada, the master of acupressure, elevated our spa visit. This resort was excellent. The staff were so friendly, professional and accommodating. During check-in they learned it was our honeymoon, they congratulated us but when we were taken to our room they opened the doors to the pool and they told us they had upgraded us to an ocean view villa. It was stunning. Restaurant food was amazing and the beach club was really nice. Such a beautiful beach. Big thanks to all the team at Karma Kandara, we’ll be back.

We booked the spa n dine here. It was surreal. The whole experience justified its cost. Everything was so perfectly done and the dinner was customised as per our taste. The property looks like a beautiful castle of Europe overlooking the sea. Eka Cansiatari helped manage everything there.

A beatifull place, with the best beach. Good food, great drinks and perfect service. The elevator down to the beach are spectaculer, and very nice. the endless pool, and restaurant is also great. they also have a beatiful spa on the edge

We recently had a week long stay at Karma, including a wedding reception for almost 200 guests, approximately half of whom also stayed at the resort. Karma did absolutely everything to ensure the most important day of our life was the best day of our lives. Nothing, at any hour, was too much to ask of the staff, who were all amazing and friendly. The wedding catering was fully vegan and vegetarian with a stunning selection of each. This was 5-star, 10/10 service all the way and my partner and I have been inundated with comments from dozens of guests saying it was the best wedding, event and party they had ever attended. Full credit goes to Karma Kandara, their management and team for making this destination wedding everything it could be. Thank you Shaun, Ed and all your amazing staff. We visited for two nights at the end of our honeymoon and I only wish we had longer to spend at Karma Kandara. We had booked a one bedroom pool villa and they upgraded us to a huge ocean view villa (4 bedrooms and a huge private pool). It had its own filtered water jug in the room to fill our water battles. We ordered room service and it was quick. The restaurant di Mare was great for breakfast with absolutely breath-taking views. We also spent time at the beach club (free loungers if staying at the hotel) and the drinks and food were all delicious! We wish the tram was in service, but we never waited more than a few minutes for the shuttle to take us down to the beach. We used all of the waterspouts equipment, including snorkeling and stand up paddle boards. At high tide, the waves reach all the way to the beach, but at low tide, the waves break very far out and create a calm, flat pool for snorkeling/SUP with lots of coral and fish to see. The photos we got on the beach at sunset are honestly some of the best I have ever taken. There is nothing that could have made this trip better except to have spent more time here. We really loved it and will definitely be back if we ever make a trip back to Bali!! Cannot recommend enough! …

The good - beautiful location, amazing views, lovely villas with private pool. Nice breakfasts. Lots to do on the island. It is well worth hiring a scooter to get around. The bad - the price of drinks is off the charts high to the point of coming across as being exploitative (buy your own and stock the fridge), also to book the villas you need to pay for multiple rooms making it clunky if you want to travel alone or as a couple. The gym is handy, but is very small and a bit hot and could be improved.
