We spent a wonderful three nights at the lodge and could easily have spent longer here. We stayed in the studio room which was extremely spacious with warm decor. We appreciated the tea making facilities. The lodge is in such a beautiful, peacful location. The food is fantastic and so fresh. Regina made us feel so welcome and we enjoyed chatting...

I can't say enough positive things about our experience at Cuffie River. We found the pictures and description of the property extremely accurate. The lodge is beautifully constructed and decorated, and we loved the constant breezes passing through our room and being lulled to sleep by the sound of the rain on the tin roof. Our hostess, Regina, was absolutely...

We had an outstanding stay at this lodge. The setting is beautiful and quiet, the room was perfect, and the food was excellent. We were the only guests at this time; some people might find this unappealing, but we really enjoyed being just the two of us. The manager and staff were friendly but also allowed us plenty of privacy...

My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay during a birding tour. The eco-lodge is beautiful, welcoming and has a magical quality about it. Much of the lodge is open to the outdoors, which is stunningly beautiful and private. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the owner Regina very welcoming. The lodge is small...

Our Rough Guide to Tobago informed us about this retreat. We also received a recommendation from friends, and discovered the favourable reviews on TA. We were not disappointed. Taking advice we made reservations with the owner, Regina, a charming person who met us on arrival. After a short walk checking out some of the rich bird life nearby, and then...

We spent three nights here as part of a birding expedition and we could have stayed much longer! For birders, this lodge is amazing. Our hostess Regina is a marvelous cook and we wanted for nothing. The service was wonderful and the local guide Desmond knows every inch of the area.. To wake up to parrots and honeycreepers right outside...

We had visited the lodge for dinner last year as guests of our Tobago friend and host , and were so smitten with the place that we decided to return to the Cuffie River Nature Retreat during our recent sojourn in Tobago, for a guided hike through the old plantation site, followed by lunch at the lodge. Although we called...

Kathy & I spent four wonderful nights at this delightful location. We arrived late; as we drove up the driveway we had to stop to prevent running over several Nightjars! What a birder's paradise. Our gracious host Regina had a gourmet meal waiting for us at 9:00 pm! Regina's guide Desmond took us on an up-the-mountain hike - lots of...

Cuffie River is a very clean and comfortable place to stay - which it should be for the price (~£300 / day) It has an excellent swimming pool and lots of hummingbird feeders. The food is varied and based on local cuisine. Staff are very friendly. Our problem was the location - it is isolated, amidst mountainous terrain in the...

We have just returned from a wonderful 6 night stay at this lodge and feel that we have discovered paradise. If the sea, plenty of drink and entertainment are on your wish list then this Lodge is not for you but if quiet, peaceful surroundings and plenty of bird life is what you want then visit Cuffie River. Regina and...
