We stayed at Davy Crockett Ranch last October for Halloween! We chose the lodges as we were driving to DLP and we like our space. We arrived early so were given our magic passes and told to check in from 4pm. We then made our may to the parks in our car, this took about 10 minutes.

Once we returned (around 6pm ) we were given our keys to the lodge, it’s a big place so if you want to be near amenities then I would request this shortly after booking. The cabin was nice and warm on arriving, and although basic we found it very comfortable. We had two bedrooms a double and a triple and also the sofa converts into a bed (although we didn’t use this) the beds were comfortable and plenty of storage for our 3 night stay. We had a shower room and separate toilet and also an en-suite all had radiators to dry towels on.

The kitchen had a fridge and small freezer NO OVEN but had a two ring hob, microwave, dishwasher and kettle. The kitchen is equipped with cutlery and pots and pans.
You can buy food from the onsite shop but it’s expensive so I would recommend either bringing what you can from the uk or finding a supermarket close to dlp and stocking up.

The journey to the park is not long (around 10mins) but it was a struggle to get there for extra magic hour as once you arrive you have to park the car then walk quite a way to the park before then going through security. This is my only grumble!

We had an amazing first time at dlp and plan to return at Xmas, not at Davy Crockett though as it hasn’t been given an opening date yet. I would recommend Davy Crockett for larger families or families that like a little more space.

Tips... take your own dishwasher tablets
* towels are small so take your own as well
* you will need your own beach towels for the pool.
* pack a lunch and snacks as food is expensive in the parks.

For Dutchies; this accommodation is best booked in combination with entrance tickets to Disneyland Paris through ANWB.

This accommodation is perfect when you're traveling with more than 2 or 3 people. The cabins have 2 separate bedrooms with each its own bathroom. Cabins are not cleaned very thoroughly, but good enough if you're not a germaphobe.
You can either use the breakfast service, which we did in June 2018, or bring your own breakfast items and store them in the fridge and cabinets. The provided breakfast is more than enough. We even used part of it as our lunch to cut costs (Disneyland is expensive enough as it is).
Showers are 'cheap', but for a short stay (up to a week), these cabins are just fine.
Beds are comfortable. They can provide you with camping beds for babies, but there's limited room to put them when you're traveling with a larger group.

Service at the front desk is good, but be prepared to wait in line quite a while if you're arriving early in the morning. You will most likely not have access to your cabin until approximately 3pm. A deposit is required for a second key to the cabin, I believe this was 30 euros. You will also have to wait in line again to get this deposit back.

Nice forest area around the cabins.

We choose Davy Crockett ranch for our first visit to Disneyland Paris, because as opposed to a hotel room, once our daughter was in bed we could then stay up and relax without disturbing her. As it happened we went to bed at the same time every night due to being so exhausted from a day at the park! Never the less it was great accommodation, easy to find from the motorway. Check in was long, at least 40 minutes wait when we arrived (there always was a queue no matter what time of day you popped in). Tip if you arrive before check in time and don’t intend on going to the park, don’t queue twice like we did! When you arrive take advantage of the pool and the gift shop and games room on site instead. There definitely should be a key collection point if you’ve already queued for your park tickets etc, would really speed things up. There was a private parking space right outside. Yes it is a static caravan made to look like a log cabin, but this is one of the cheaper options at Disney, you get what you pay for! And we were pleasantly surprised. There was lots of space, 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and an open plan kitchenette and diner. We only used the kitchen for breakfast but it was ample for what you needed. Your given a little washing up kit when you arrive, collected at the gift shop. It was clean and our bins were emptied and floors swept daily. The beds were a bit squeaky which would be my only complaint, it was plenty warm enough by keeping the little heaters on low during the day. We were one of the furthest sites away from the restaurant etc but we walked down and back on the first evening and took us 10 minutes on a lit pathway. We prebooked the buffet restaurant for the first sitting, and glad we did as it got really busy and people were having to wait for tables by the time we left. The food was lovely and plenty for everyone to choose (included in the standard meal plan). The breakfast baskets from the cabin were a good idea, the bread and pastries were all really fresh. I took things like eggs with me as we drove across, for a more substantial breakfast but there’s plenty of food you wouldn’t go hungry. Would recommend leaving before 9am for the park, the one day we didn’t we queued a lot to get into the car park. The only gripe I would have would be more about the guests than the accommodation, and that was my daughter dropped her hat on the way back from the restaurant to the cabin after dinner, we realised right away and retraced our steps but it had gone, and not handed into reception despite us asking each day. It was cold when we went and obviously a child’s hat, so for someone to take it was a bit below the belt! But that’s not Disney’s fault! We would stay here again if we visited Disney in the future.

DAVY CROCKETT ACCOMMODATION

First impressions of the staff was one disappointment but then as we finished our brief time on our first day we wanted to settle our children to bed and unpack in prep for a further 3 days and nights at Disneyland Paris.

Upon arriving in our lodges/caravans the lack of cleanliness was immediate, bins still full from previous occupants, hair in the shower trays, limescale around the sinks, a floorboard under the bed that was ripped apart, springs felt through the mattress, body hair, dust in every corner, a maggot in another. With bare feet you could even feel the dust and dirt.

After leaving the UK at 4am to drive to Paris that day our priority was to get our children to bed, I did call housekeeping who came to visit our lodge 1054 and they offered to clean again but due to the children now being in bed I asked for them to return the following morning.

When we returned the following day there was still dust, hair etc in every corner, they came back again and removed it. Why this could not be done the first time I do not know, the dust build up and hair was something that appeared to have been building up for a very long time so I grew very concerned about how thoroughly the lodges were cleaned and felt very uncomfortable and stressed for the duration of our stay.

The other family travelling with us in lodge 1053 had similar issues, dust, body hair in showers but also a mouse, they could hear scratching and moving of a night whilst sleeping but by the time they were offered to move in order to fumigate they only had one night left and with a baby and toddler and a number of things to pack up again for the sake of one night they decided to just deal with it. See pictures of Maggots attached. I’m still awaiting a response from Disneyland Paris, safe to say there was no magic for us...

We chose to stay at the Davy Crockett ranch as a self drive option. The staff are so lovely and went above and beyond. The cabins are spacious and cosy the master has an en suite as well as an extra toilet and shower room by the children’s room. The pool is like heaven it’s open until 10pm so we went early on our first morning as we’d had a long drive and evening in the park the night before it was a lovely way to wind down we went again the night before we went home as the children loved the pool so much. The park is only a short drive from the ranch less than 10 minutes and the cabins have an allocated parking space. There’s decking with a picnic table and a bbq however as we were there in February we didn’t use it. There’s a shop on site with Disney goodies and snacks and a restaurant and bar. We had the most incredible time at Disneyland and the ranch was awesome thank you disney for a magical trip

Been going to Disneyland Paris for 15 years, been to Davy Crockett 6 times over those years. Disney? Love it.. Davy Crockett? Looking a little tired.

Pros - It's Disney! The staff are amazing, always willing to help and really go out of their way to do whatever they can to do what is needed. The privacy of the place is something we always like, and of course it is the cheaper option if you are on a budget or have a large family like we do.

The cabins are always spotless and they are large cabins easily sleep 5 adults and you don't get under each other feet, get the bigger cabins and you get 2 shower rooms and toilets, so, no waiting to get ready. The kitchen area is very well stocked and it is easy to cook if you want to save a few pennies. We did quite a nice spread.

The shop is well stocked with the basics, sugar, milk bread, etc, and the breakfast albeit basic has plenty of food, there's always spare.

The restaurant is busy, but the food is excellent, it's a Tex-Mex eat all you want, and has a huge variety of food, we had a fussy eater with us and they had no problems finding something they liked.

The bar is just so nice, the prices are typical Disney but cheaper than some of the other hotels and the service is fantastic, we were looked after so well during our stay.

The pool is huge and clean never really seems crowded.

Cons - The Drive to the parks each morning can be a bit of a drag, although it is a very easy drive, and if you're not there at stupid o'clock then you're normally in row D or E and then you have a very long walk before you've even got to the security gates.

The cabins are starting to look a little tired, several hooks fell off the wall when we hung up our cloths and the pressure in the showers was better last time, they are not dirty, just shabby and need a refresh. The decking was very soft underfoot and felt like it was going to break every now and then.

I would rather have an oven in the cabin than a dishwasher.

This is our third time staying at the Davy Crockett ranch, and yet again, we had a fantastic time. The cabin had plenty of space for the four of us (two adults and two children). The cabin was well equipped, the beds fresh and everywhere clean (the only place where we felt cleanliness could’ve been better was the single toilet as it had a strong urine smell which wasn’t resolved when I cleaned it). The ranch itself was well maintained. Breakfast from the breakfast hut was croissants, demi baguettes, jam, butter, Nutella, coffee, hot chocolate and cereal bars, more than enough to feed us all. We aimed to visit the park early for magic hours, then return to our cabin for lunch and a swim, before heading back to the park for the afternoon for more rides and the parade. The swimming pool changing rooms have had an update since our last visit and were lovely and clean with large changing rooms. The staff on reception were very friendly, especially Stephane, who made origami animals for our kids.

We ate at the Crockett tavern two nights and the food was fine, if you want to eat at the park or hotel restaurants you will need to book quite a while in advance as they book up quite early.

If you want to see the parade well, then you will need to start finding a place to stand about thirty minutes before it starts, our preference was to stand near the start, up near small world, then you can quickly move on to find a ride after it passes. The parade was the best we’ve seen (this was our 4th visit) and the fire breathing dragon was amazing.

We didn’t realise at first, but our magic passes gave us fast pass, which made getting on the rides a bit easier, and we were able to plan our day around the timings of our fast passes. We used the Disney app to keep track of queue times, if you want to meet a character, you will need to book it on the lineberty app.

Overall, we had a lovely stay at the Davy Crockett ranch and would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Disneyland Paris.

Stayed here May 2019. Good size accommodation for multiple age groups. Our bedroom had double bed and ensuite. Then there is the middle section with kitchen lounge, and then further bedroom with four single beds and ensuite. Our cabin was quite a long way out at around half hour walk to the main complex. Lots of trees and shade and at this time of year lots of bugs about so couldnt really eat outdoors, and had to keep the door and windows closed. Easy drive into the parks and with the ranch ticket gave us free parking at Disney which was really worth quite a lot over the 5 days we were there. Pity it didnt have a proper cooker or even a hob. We bought food at local supermarkets or ate out, but not at the Ranch restaurants or from Ranch shops. Would definitely come back again with a full family as just right.

We stayed here just before Christmas 2019. I'd put off going to DLP for years as I didn't want to stay here (family of 5) but in the end booked it for my 40th birthday knowing that it would be a good few years before being able to stay in a hotel. I wish we'd done it years earlier as we all loved it and it was the perfect place to stay.

The extra space of the cabins was ideal for us especially having children of different ages and also with additional needs it meant that the evenings could be spent chilling out in their own space.

We had one of the premium cabins which meant that we were in one of the closest areas to the facilities so we were able
space and 2 shower rooms so no queuing for the shower in the morning!

We paid for the Christmas package, so had a tree and the window decorations plus a gift for the children and adults. As one of our sons was 14 at the time he wasn't eligible for the children's gift which was a Pluto soft toy but he still loves his "cuddlies". They were brilliant down at reception as we explained the situation and asked if there was any way that we could buy one for him but instead they gave us one which was lovely.

Crockett's Tavern was definitely the best place that we ate at the entire week we were there. I wish we'd eaten there more often actually.

Before we went I hadn't seen much, if anything about Crockett's Saloon which is the bar that they have there. It's quite small, although does have a fair bit of outside space which would be really nice in summer. The service was good in there, and most importantly they serve Glowtini's! This is actually the cheapest place to get one by far.

The pool looked great, however, even though we planned to use it we didn't manage to as we forgot to pack all the swimming costumes except mine. They do have a vending machine with swimming costumes and trunks but they don't sell swimming shorts so unfortunately we missed out on trying out the pool.

The shop is well stocked, both with food and gifts etc. The staff are really friendly all over the site.

The breakfast pack that you get from the kiosks is plentiful and great to use for lunch as well as breakfast.

We travelled here by car as a family of 3, after an easy check in with very friendly staff we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the cabin and the facilities. You can park your car right outside the front door and there is an equipped kitchen. There isn't a food shop on the site so stop on the way for food and drink. The beds were comfortable and the cabin more spacious than we expected.

We ate at the on site restaurant one evening, buffet style which was tasty and plentiful. *Tip* Book all of your restaurants before you depart if you have booked a Disney package to avoid disappointment and very expensive prices.

Breakfast was provided which you collected every morning, this included tea, coffee, juices, milk, cereal, fresh bread, butter, jam etc. This was sufficient but would have been even better with ham and cheese also.

There is a swimming pool on site, free to all guests and open fairly late so you could go after a day at the parks. We loved the pool, it's large, has a slide and a jacuzzi. This was a really nice to wind down after a busy day in Disney.

We really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend if you are driving to Disney

There’s a picture on my review. It’s the one you make in a big jar. Sorry I’m not a coffee drinker so can’t remember what it’s called.

Hi, hope this helps! Room layout is two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One room has a double bed the other 3 singles. Yes only one space for car at the lodge. No extra charge to park the other car on the main car park and you’ll get into the Disney Park parking with two cars ok. You use your magic pass to get through the barrier so just ensure a person has their pass in each car! Enjoy.
