Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well we thought it would be a getaway romantic weekend. Wr reserved the room from hotels.com thinking this place is near the sea, having a fireplace in the room. Nope, it is not near the sea, you can see the sea barely from the side of the balcony. Nor does the room had any fireplace. We learnt the fireplace belongs to deluxe rooms not to the superior rooms / and there was no mention of that anywhere in the booking site. Well we thought, fine we will stay only for a couple of nights, but the bad service did not end there. First the AC wasvout of order, they fixed it. But in November they supplied only a bedspread and a small size blanket (which would fit to a child'sbed). At 12 am, i tried to reach concierge (he was not at his desk, could not find him anywhere and only could reach him through calling the desk from my mobile) and asked for a proper quilt. He unwillingly brought a quilt and a quilt cover, asked me to fix it myself. Ehen I objected that, very unwillingly he put tge cover on the quilt and brought it in around 15 minutes. it is 12.20 am in the morning, instead of having a romantic night i am writing this review in anger, so you can make your guess - we are leaving tomorrow after breakfast. I do not reccomend this place to anyone ever.

This is a perfect hotel; friendly staff( even though we speak no Turkish), delicious breakfast, very clean and super comfortable beds. But it was the owner, Afacan, who made our stay so memorable; he drove us around the island showing us the sights and telling us much about Turkish life. We will never forget his kindness.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The staff is very dedicated and always keen to do anything to serve their guests. My room had a sea view and there is a small balcony in the hotel with splendid scenery.

I must say, this hotel was below my expectations. We have stayed with my husband there on 27 October which is the hit weekend of the Republic Day holiday. I have checked the hotels picture before coming. I expected well decoration, a fireplace, a view, garden and hamam & sauna facility. Decoration was blend, you have nearly nothing that cute in the room. The decoration in the common areas are pretty. Fireplace on the hotel is not get lit up if you dont ask the reception. It is one of the very good season for Cunda in the Winter. What are you waiting for to lit it up? Hamam was not running at all. Maybe if we asked they may have open it for us. But again, why do we need that? If we asked, we need to wait for it to get warm. Waste of time and efforts. A big disappointment. Garden didnt felt that nice, it is just small green grass, not a garden! I felt it was just the economy room, which wasn't. View of the hotel, there is just small space to see the sea from the dining area. I expected a panaroma from the pictures. There is not! The bathroom was also a very big disapointment. Both of the shower handsets were broken, the water gets everywhere except you and you end up with a wet bathroom from the walls to the ceiling. One shampoo one shower gel for 2 people. Why to cut from shampoo??? Its not a cheap hotel that cant affort 2 shampoos. There were no soap to wash hands after using toilet also. Looks like, they didn't care at all. Hand towels are not soft very low quality. There are also good parts. Fireplace is very nice, you feel cosy near to it reading your book, drinking wine, coffee. It has a car parking lot. Breakfast is nice. Location of the hotel is nice. In summary, its just avg, nothing so special. If you find a good deal you can choose here.

This facility has an excellent location. Not too close to the hustle and bustle of Cunda center, but not that far away, either! It's a mere 10 minutes of walk. This makes it's location especially unique and thus preferable among many other competitors around. The rooms are very spacious & comfortable. Breakfast is superb. Staff are very polite, friendly and make every possible effort to help you feel at home. Definitely, we will come back again.

Really beautiful little hotel. Very special. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are all very kind. In particular Ayce. 🙏 Delicious generous breakfast.Picture perfect room with balcony & gentle views of the sea over the tree-tops. Lovely natural travertine stone bathroom. We’d only booked for one night but were so happy when we arrived we decided to stay for 3 as we didn’t want to leave. Also went on a day-long trip on a beautifully restored sailing ⛵️ boat (Azak Tour), which was just peaceful heaven, thanks to Captain Ali & Hasan. 👍 Ate very well at Deniz restaurant 🍷jetty over the sea to complete our lovely romantic stay on the island of Cunda.😀

This hotel is not luxury. Rooms with gardens are large enough to relax. Bathroom amenities are a nice surprise for you to feel you are in an expensive hotel. It is within walking distance to the fish restaurants. Nice beaches are away so you will have to drive. Staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is lovely. There is a safe box in the room but it is very small and not attached to the wall, someone can easily take away. Enjoy your stay and Cunda Island.

This hotel is not a boutique hotel but just a small hotel. The first day when our baby cried the hotel owner came and shouted at us. Very unpolite staff. Internet ia not working properly, electricity is going on and off for several times during the night which can cause problems for your charging devices. Location is not good far from the center and the walking rpute to the center is not suitable at nights. Strongly do not recommend the hotel and never visit again.
