Visited Ginepro in Zampugna again in July 2016 - great time of year! We saw a family of wild boar in the field near the pool and 4 baby hares hopped out from under the rosemary bush when we were BBQing one evening. Once again, the scenery and location were fabulous, Riccardo was welcoming and the weather was lovely. The... More

We have returned to Zampugna 9 times now and have stayed in several of the apartments the complex offers, all are to a high standard. What make the place special is its situation,it offers totally relaxation and tranquility, it's blissful. Added to this is the owner, Riccardo, he's such a lovely man, so helpful and genuine he makes you feel... More

We have been staying in Zampugna, every year, since 2002. This place is best described as 'Heaven'. The accommodation is outstandingly clean. The owner 'Riccardo' , is the personification of politeness, kindness and geniality. We have many holidays in other parts of the World, with high class agencies, but would never forego our annual visit to Zampugna. A previous, negative,review,... More

Beautiful location. Wonderful pool and views from both the pool and villa are fantastic. Accommodation is not a 5 star hotel as one of the reviewers below was perhaps expecting - it's in keeping with typical, rural self catering accommodation in Europe. Fantastically located in between Montepulciano and Pienza. So much to see and do. Montalcino, Sienne and Orvietta all... More

We stayed at Spigo for 2 weeks at the end of June and really enjoyed our holiday. This was our second visit to Zampugna and our first time in Spigo. Zampugna is perfectly placed in the heart of the most picturesque part of Tuscany and is positioned out in the countryside but within easy travelling distance of lots of beautiful... More

Zampugna is a glorious place to relax and wind down, this is why we return every year. It's an agriturismo not a top class hotel, therefore it's charmingly rustic, but it's well decorated, maintained and clean. The setting of the apartments is outstandingly beautiful and the tranquility is unbelievable. Added to this it has a lovely pool to relax in... More

Spigo is a charming cottage in an idyllic location perfectly situated for fantastic scenery and trips. Riccardo Berna is a friendly and attentive owner and gave us some great advice about local restaurants so we had a perfect week. The cottage was clean and comfortable and everything worked perfectly although some of the fixtures and fittings are old in keeping... More

First time in Tuscany scouting a venue for our wedding. We followed a friend recommendation and check in at Zampugna. We are staying a a little adorable cottage called Spigo. I can only describe it with my fiance words when we first arrived: "this must be paradise". The surroundings are just picture perfect... the pool, the gardens, our cosy cottage...... More

We booked a 2 week stay in the villa Spigo at the Zampugna apartments, the condition of the accommodation was so disgusting we returned home a week early. The villa is not as discribed in the brouchure it is very dirty and very uncomfortable, there is no where to keep food and very little space for clothing. The fridge and... More

We have just returned from two fabulous weeks having stayed in Ginepro at Zampugna. The location is absolutely stunning, and never have I experienced such beautiful scenery, or peace and quiet. Nearby, the beautiful medieval villages bustle with activity, and are fascinating. The vast array of cheeses and wines were stunning, and being able to taste them was a real... More
