This is a wonderful old house with every modern amenity you require. The bedroom has a really comfortable bed and although there is a road outside we didn't experience any noise from it, so slept very well. The full Devon breakfast is delicious , with homemade bread and marmalade and really set us up for the day. Jo and David...

I genuinely can't fault this lovely B&B built in 1750 and based in what must be the one of the most beautiful areas of the country, Devon. Pricing was very reasonable. Extremely well located for trips to Bude right up the West coast, across the North coast, through Exmoor (Lynton, Lynmouth etc....) and over to Minehead. 5 minutes from Barnstaple...

we booked no2 king room with separate bathroom, it was comfortably furnished and presented. the room was stuffy at night and we had difficulty sleeping. we tried the fan provided, but this only moved the warm air around the room. we ended up having the window open, which picked up the odd road noise as this room is at the...

Thank you for your Trip advisor contribution. We were sorry to learn about your issue with the pillows and had you brought this to our attention during your stay we would have been very happy to replace them with an alternative type, sadly you did not give us the opportunity to put this right for you. The Good: Scenic location, beautiful Guesthouse with comfortable en suite rooms, all clean and tidy and very quiet. It was just like being at home. Homemade, fresh breakfast produce. We felt well looked after by Landlady. The Could Improve: Strict check-in/out and breakfast timings. Although they were given to provide a better service, we felt a little compelled.
