Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely place. We enjoyed our private hot tub and the room was very nice. Extremely delicious and creative breakfast each morning. Very helpful owner and manager. The owner did a very informative orientation of Santorini for us when we arrived. Free parking lot which was so nice since we rented a car. Highly recommend. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful hotel, very warm and helpful staff. The breakfasts on your own terrace were one of the best we've ever had. It is a short walk to many great restaurants, beachfront bars and a great beach. The hotel has an agreement with one of the restaurants to get umbrellas and chaise lounges on the beach.

If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind, away from the hubbub of tourists and traffic in Fira and Oia, you'll have a wonderful time at Orabel Suites. On first impression, the location may seem isolated, but the property is only about a five minute walk to a quiet portion of Perivolos, the famous Black Beach, where you'll find excellent local restaurants just around the corner. If you like to walk, there's a stretch of three miles along the Mediterranean Sea. Orabel Suites is small, contemporary but comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and impeccably maintained, with separate entrances for each room facing a sizeable pool and soothing water feature. The lounge chairs are roomy and comfortable. We chose to upgrade our room to one with a private jacuzzi, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A complimentary, made-to-order, three-course breakfast is served each morning in your room or poolside, and lunch items may be purchased during the day. The staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. Cleaning service was consistent and efficient. The staff answered all of our questions, arranged transportation for us from the ferry, and can also assist with guided tour reservations and excursions. My husband, who loves resorts, raved about this one, and even I, not as focused on accommodations, will remember my stay here.

This place is amazing. Arrived early evening on a Sunday and was greeted by a friendly helpful gentleman who ran the poolside bar. We waited with a drink for Sofia who within a few minutes came over to greet us and check us in. We were brought into a very welcoming reception room where the lovely Sofia quickly checked us in and gave us local information, tips and advice and explained the excursions and car hire etc. We booked the superior suite which was absolutely spotless and very beautiful, we were delighted with our room. I won’t list everything but the bath sheets were very welcome compared to the usual bath towels and the dressing gowns and slippers were very useful for the hot tub! The breakfast, oh my Lord! The team put together a course of three dishes which is either delivered to your room or you can have at the poolside terrace. I have never enjoyed breakfast so much anywhere in the world! it was a pure delight every morning. The pool - this is a lovely area, soft music plays daily, the sun beds are of excellent quality, oak bases with adjustable head rests and thick mattresses, towels are placed on the beds every morning and there is absolutely no need to get up at silly o’clock to reserve one. The location is great, within a two minute walk you can find a mini supermarket and within five minutes you can be at the beach where there are an abundance of restaurants and bars to choose from during the day into the night. The suites are about 20 minutes from Thira and 45 into Oia. We had a car for the full seven days but I honestly don’t think this is needed unless you want to explore the island fully, three days will get you to the main attractions and Sofia would be able to organise car hire for you. The team - housekeeping did an amazing job, not only was our room immaculate, the outside areas were also tended to throughout the day. Yannis the owner, a lovely guy came to meet us on our first morning to check everything was in order, Sofia could not have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly and the lady who cooked the breakfast and the bartender are all wonderful, they all mucked in to make sure the Orabel ran as smoothly as possible. I cannot praise The Orabel Suites enough, I’m so glad that all my research paid off and I have absolutely no hesitation in making a recommendation. Thank you all for making mine and my husband’s stay in Santorini so memorable. This is a very special place indeed, I have to go back and soon to collect the piece of my heart which I left there ❤️

Wow wow wow, Can't put into words how special this hotel is, if we could we would return here every single year. Perfect location, walking distance from amazing beach bars / restaurants and away from the busyness of the well known tourist spots. We were able to hire a buggy from reception and view all the amazing sites the island has to offer, yet we loved returning to this hidden gem because of how tranquil and luxurious it is. From the amazing rooms to the gorgeous breakfast we enjoyed on our own private balcony each morning, we were lucky enough to stay in the honeymoon suite. I couldn't recommend this place enough. The staff are amazing here, the place is absolutely spotless. If you are looking for somewhere to escape look no further than Orabel Suites - 10/10 ⭐️

My husband & I have just returned from 12 days at this very charming hotel with its immaculately kept grounds & spotlessly clean suites; On arrival we were greeted by Yiannis the owner with his warm friendly smile & a welcoming complimentary cocktail; always so very helpful & accommodating throughout our stay. Then the Beautiful Sofia, her expertise & recommendations for restaurants & trips were wonderful; The famous sunset cruise & the wine tour is a must!! Breakfast is a 3 course affair, all home made by Lena, a delightful young lady who serves this every morning either on your balcony or on the terrace by the pool. Then there’s Bill, who helped at breakfast & cleared our dishes each day always with a smile & a friendly chat. Chris the barman a very nice young man who made delicious cocktails, we had many conversations with him sat at the bar throughout our stay. All in all a very well run small boutique hotel with exceptional staff that simply cannot do enough for you, it made our stay a very memorable occasion & although sad to leave, we will look forward to returning to this little hidden gem in Santorini.

Pluses: The hotel is serving a delicious 3-course breakfast in your own balcony. If you are a vegetarian, they will customize for your desires. Very nicely decorated rooms and very spacious. Every room has its own private jacuzzi. We were living at the end of the building on the second floor, which gave us complete privacy in the balcony and jacuzzi. It is a couples only hotel, which is perfect for a romantic gateway and you don’t have screaming children in the pool area. The hotel has a collaboration with one of the trendiest beach clubs ‘FortyOne’ allowing your free sunbeds and umbrella during your stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Minuses: The beach is a 15 minutes dangerous walk along a very busy road and no pavement. The hotel has a small snackbar by the pool but we had a negative experience by waiting more than an hour for a salad. Although we were the only guests. Be prepared to be kidnapped at your arrival for one hour for a sales pitch about the island cruises and wine tours. Throughout our 3-weeks stay in the Cyclades, we have found out that all hotels, including Orabel Suites, have very hard beds and high pillows
