Great property in terms of value for money, service, and location. This was my second stay in a year. The property offers spacious basic rooms, a few swimming pools to choose from, and a few nicely appointed bars/restaurants. It takes 5-8min on foot to the beach. Shout out to GM Chak and his Team - thank you, guys, for making my stay a memorable one.

Hotel's Favourite
This resort is well positioned walking distance to Surin Beach and close to Bang Tao and Kamala. It has everything you need: multiple salt water pools, including rooftop pools and bar with spectacular ocean and sunset views, 2 gyms and a huge children's play area. We found the rooms to be well sized, clean and comfortable. The staff is excellent: helpful and friendly. We don't want to leave! In fact, we have extended our stay multiple times, and are still here.

I stayed here with friends for a few nights and quickly realised this hotel is not "5-star". We arrived late in the evening and received no assistance with our bags or any help navigating our room. The resort has a very awkward layout, with many stairs and sign postage being confusing. We were also informed that there were rooftop pools on top of buildings 1,5 and 6, however, there was one right on top of our building that we had to find ourselves. Overall, there was a total lack of communication between all staff and terrible customer service. We had to be moved rooms on our first morning due to our air conditioning dripping and leaking all over the TV and plug sockets. There was then confusion as to where our luggage had been placed and nothing was offered to us for compensation. Every day was a battle to get towels for the pool, as we were frequently told the laundry had not been returned yet. For a resort this size I think it is shocking that there were no towels readily available and that the staff were of no help to us. The only upside to the hotel was the pools as they had nice facilities, and good views. Other incidents that happened were: - There was no shower gel in the bathroom - There was a hair in one of our meals -We were accused of breaking a coffee mug, to which we explained we did not use any of the in-room facilities

Not even close to a 5 star hotel. Was a disaster from the start! Arrived late at night and when eventually found the room, we then realised there wasn't even shower gel after a long day travelling. We went to sleep and then woke up to the air con dripping, which had soaked the whole floor, the sockets and the TV. Had to ask to be moved rooms and was also a mix up with where our luggage was in this process. Was then told that it wasn't possible to get towels for the pool as "the laundry hadn't came". Was told to use our room towels (which were soaked from trying to dry the floor), we were eventually given new room towels to use. The next day when we asked for towels again we were told the same. After a fuss was made the receptionist then phoned someone to bring us more, after arriving 20 minutes later, the towels were then taken by other guests as they weren't brought straight to us. After all this, the receptionist then turned round and gave us one from a cupboard behind her (which she had the whole time). If I spoke about every small thing that happened while we were there I would be here all day but I really recommend NOT STAYING!! The views and the pools were the only positive.

We planned to spend our Honeymoon in Phuket and choose Mida for that but unfortunately didn't go so well as the Manager in charge there threaten to put my husband in jail because he complained about the room which they advertise on booking and the one we got. Very bad behavior telling the guests if you don't like it then leave. We already paid and it was non refundable so didn't have any choice. We had to beg them to send house keeping as well to change the towels and clean. They have aunts insects walking around the kitchenet. The pools were nice, food overpriced, location not so good as you have to walk up hill to your building. Other staff except the management were good and did their best as they are very understaffed. Overall until they learn better hospitality I wouldn't recommend anyone that place.

A much needed family vacation, we stayed here for 1 week, this being on first overseas holidays in a very long time. The 2 bedroom Pool Villa (we got upgraded) was very spacious and consisted of 2 levels. The ground level consisted of oversized living room space with a kitchen and a separate lounge area, which had direct access to the pool. There is also a full bathroom and an outside shower area just next to the private swimming pool. The 1st floor has 2 large bedrooms (the master has a king bed and the 2nd bedroom had 2 separate beds, perfect for our 2 boys) with their own ensuite bathrooms and in the master bedroom there is also the addition of an oversized Jacuzzi. The furniture and fixtures are top notch and all the amenities provided were simply amazing (refrigerator, cooktop, micro, washing machine, mini bar, kettle & coffee machine with Starbucks coffee pods). The bed was very soft, complete with quality linen, multiple plush pillows & doona. The block out curtains guaranteed a great night's sleep! There were also multiple conveniently located power points throughout the Villa. The ensuite bathroom was also very spacious, complete with a double vanity & conveniently located power point. The shower recess was large with rain shower head, excellent water pressure & temperature. M restaurant is located close to the main entrance & does amazing buffet breakfast & dinner. Etoile, which is the bar located at the main swimming pool had a great vibe and the cocktails we had there were amazing. There are also 3 infinity pools. A big shout out to the amazing staff at the property, everywhere you went you always see a smile on their face. The Housekeeping team kept our Villa spotless, the F&B team were always courteous and happy to help and the Front Desk team were very responsive to all request put to them. A big personal thank you to the GM, unfortunately we couldn’t catch up and express our gratitude for a truly memorable stay. Daniel & family.

Reading some of the reviews I wonder what planet some of these whingers are on. As far as the staff is concerned - happy, helpful, smiling all and with more than adequate English language skills. Being elderly (72 ) and with a left knee replacement a bit far off being functional I was at first dismayed at all the steps needed to access most areas particularly the main pool , the sauna and the roof top pool in my building no. 5. I actually considered checking out that is until two vital out of of order elevators came back into operation, now it's all easy and with spectacular views everything is delightful.

The WOrSE HOTEL ever!!!! I had a disappointing experience at the hotel resembling more of a dormitory. The cleanliness was subpar, and the room had an unpleasant smell of staleness. The bed linens were unwearable, causing irritation. The pools were dirty, and the buildings seemed antiquated. The overall service was abysmal; we endured a two-hour wait for check-in. Assistance with our luggage was non-existent, and we had to manage it ourselves. The pools had visible debris, the corridors were unsanitary, and the showers were far from clean. Our room, reminiscent of a bygone era, added to the disappointment. The cumulative effect of these hotel left us with a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Furthermore, the management promised to provide a sofa for our child, but it never arrived. Another concern is that, as of now, it's been 3-4 hours, and the room has not been cleaned

This is the first time I have given a 1-star review, but this hotel is not a 5-star establishment. The management and staff barely speak English, which is surprising for a hotel of this size and location. However, that's not the main reason for my low rating because I, myself can communicate in Thai. From the start, there were issues. We called to ask if airport pick-up could be arranged. While they communicated that they do not offer such a service, they promised to arrange a taxi for us at the airport. We were happy and confirmed all the details with the person on the phone. However, upon landing, we waited for half an hour at arrivals before deciding to call the hotel, only to be told that they had no record of our conversation, there was nothing they could do, and we should find our way to the hotel ourselves haha; which of course not a great start and it was a bit frustrating Upon check-in, we were shown to a room with twin beds instead of the king-sized bed we expected. We requested a change of bed, and they decided to upgrade us to a pool villa to compensate for the miscommunication of the whole airport situation thing. However, the villa we were given had not been cleaned after the previous guests checked out. We sat there for over an hour, surrounded by full bins and used towels, waiting for someone to come clean the place. I'm not a snob nor hard-to-please person but this is certainly not the welcome you expect from a 5-star hotel in my opinion. The hotel is large, but it's not very well-organized in terms of logistics, making it inconvenient to explore. Overall, I wouldn't come back here, nor would I recommend it to anyone. I believe the hotel still has a long way to go in terms of improvements to call themselves a 5-star hotel.

This apparently 5 star resort needs a lot of work. With the right management it could be amazing. Our room was sensational. The service, however, was the worst we have ever experienced. On check-in the GM told us he would make a birthday cake for our daughter as it was her birthday the next day. That never happened. At dinner, there were 3 other parties dining yet it took the staff 20 minutes to bring us menus, another 20 to take our order, a further 30 minutes to bring us 2 bottled beers and another 20 for our food. The food, however, was delicious. Another evening, after the long wait for a menu, our drinks and finally our food, they just forgot to cook one of our meals. They didn't notice that only 2 of us had meals and when I called for assistance, I was brought the menu! When they finally realised their mistake they were great, and brought the missing meal quickly and didn't charge us. We also got free ice cream as an apology. This same night we were again promised a birthday cake for our daughter, nothing eventuated. At breakfast, it's every man for himself. The other guests were very rude and had no concept of consideration, the staff didn't clear or clean vacated tables, I informed a staff member of a piece of water melon that had been on the floor for at least 30 minutes and she said she knew! I asked for the teabags to be restocked and was given 1 tea bag as the staff member refused to restock from the large box under the counter. While there are many pools (one main pool and 3 or 4 roof top pools), there are limited umbrellas for shade (none of the roof top pools have umbrellas) The music around the pool is on repeat after about 10 songs The building is in need of repair and refresh None of the staff speak very good English so we needed to use Google Translate for all communication. The free shuttle to Surin Beach, Bang Thao beach and Boat Avenue was always overbooked, the driver didn't check who had booked, he just let people on which meant that both times we booked, we got left behind as we weren't rude enough to push our way to the front. It would appear a lot of the rooms are privately owned (the GM mission statement in the room compendium is to maximise return for their owners) and with this comes a sense of entitlement from the other guests (owners, mainly Russian) making us feel inferior and not valued as a guest. There are so many quality resorts in Phuket, steer clear of this one.
