A beautiful setting, a master chef, solitude amongst friendly people, beautiful, comfortable room, pure French ambience but enough English to be understood easily, beautiful scenery--what more could one ask for?

We were only able to stay 1 night in this gem, but found the quality of the food, staff, room , comfort of the bed etc all excellent and at a level others should well and truly aim for. The open fire was welcoming (5'C outside ) and the town itself although only small is truly beautiful. Well worth a...

We only spent two nights here, but could have stayed for days. Nestled in a classic French medieval hill town, the view itself is worth the trip: you can see the Pyrenees on a clear day. “The church bell rings all night long. Bring earplugs, a sound machine app, and just vive la difference.”

“Each room is very charming and different. Top floor, up the spiral staircase, first on the right, number 8 I think, had yellow walls, nice furniture and an incredible view of morning mist over the hills. I saw a lot of rooms and this was my favourite. Bathrooms all excellent in each room. Breakfast is awesome and I had 5 dinners. All good but one which was hosted at the nearby cafe as they are closed Monday from memory.”
