My daughter and I stayed at the Hideaway earlier this month to attend a Memorial Even being held in Servigliano. Our accommodations were very comfortable in the beautiful mountains in Amandola. Best of all, Sarah and Mark were the best and most responsive hosts I have experienced on a trip. They took care of us like family!!! HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous hideaway.

This really is a wonderful place to stay. Tucked away down a romantic country road in gorgeous countryside, the guesthouse is full of character and exactly as peaceful and quiet as you want it to be. I stayed in a suite with self catering kitchen which was perfect for me, and the place was excellently stocked up with utensils so I could easily cater for myself. The garden, gazebo and small pool were even better than I expected, and meant I was perfectly happy to while away a few hours in the day not doing much. Sarah and Mark are fantastic hosts. Extremely friendly and hard working, and they also really care if you're having a good time. Any issues that may arise (which for me they didn't) they'd be on hand straight away to sort out. Sarah bakes wonderful cakes which you may be lucky enough to sample. I also had to work online for 2 days of my stay. The WiFi and connectivity were excellent, and the communal terrace was a really lovely setting to work. I highly recommend staying. Jonny

Mark and Sarah are wonderful hosts. So helpful. So generous. The location is perfect for relaxing amid the mountains. Good restaurants within a 15 to 20 minute drive. The property is up a few dirt roads and a car is of course essential. Excellent base for hikers.

The Hideaway is in a beautiful location! The room we were in had a lovely patio surrounded by trees. The room itself was nice that in addition to a bed had two comfy chairs, a fridge, and a microwave. Sarah and Mark provided breakfast everyday which was two pastries and two rolls. They also provided butter and jam for the rolls as well as milk and juice. It was such a relaxing time in a beautiful location! The best part is they are dog friendly and actually had a little bowl of dog treats in the room and a big bowl of water just outside the room.

A well-located house with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Plenty of space to relax - deckchairs, swimming pool, BBQ area, individual terrace where the sun greets you when you sit down to breakfast. Quiet and calm. A good starting point for trekking along the paths of the Sibillini National Park. Super hosts Sarah and Mark welcome you with home-made bread and cakes and wine from local vineyards. Very nice and helpful in choosing the best restaurants in the area and other attractions. The apartment is comfortable and spacious. Very well stocked - whatever comes to mind you will find it in drawers or on shelves. Great place. We are planning a longer stay next year.

This wasn't our first visit to Il Nascondiglio and it certainly won't be the last. If you want peace and quiet and to be immersed in nature, then you will love it here. The appartment was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and a lovely welcome pack was provided including wine, and homemade jam and cakes. Sarah and Mark are the perfect hosts and will do everything in their power to make your stay perfect. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Until next time......

During the first half of the 2000s, I travelled to every continent, covering almost half the world, and have stayed in numerous places and met countless hosts. But Sarah and Mark are definitely number 1 for me! We arrived with our 15-year-old rescue dog and received the warmest welcome. Not only were we offered chilled prosecco, but we were also treated to Mark's delicious homemade bread, Sarah's beautiful strawberry jam full of real flavours, and dog biscuits for Döme. Furthermore, Mark and Sarah's genuine enthusiasm and dedication immediately won us over. The place itself is a slice of paradise. The old houses have been carefully restored, the apartment we stayed in tastefully furnished, the kitchen fully equipped, and everything was spotless. The garden is a haven, and sitting at the table in front of the apartment, sipping prosecco and admiring the beautiful scenery while listening to the birds singing, is pure bliss. We even discovered hidden little elf houses - (perhaps Mark's work?) During our stay, Sarah and Mark surprised us with a delicious lemon cake, which not only looked amazing but was also moist, delicious, and divine. And we mustn't forget the four-legged treasure of The Hideaway - Maya, the shy and beautiful rescued dog who stole our hearts. All in all, this place is an earthly paradise, and a part of our soul remains there. We will undoubtedly return in - probably one autumn when we imagine the nature surrounding the site will be painted in a million colours. Thank you, Mark, Sarah, and dear Maya, for such a fantastic, unforgettable experience. Klára, Balázs, Döme

We stayed for 10 days during July and were amazed by the beautiful surroundings and very cozy apartment. Sarah and Mark made us feel very welcome and were formidable hosts. They gave us great tips about the surrounding area and events to visit, as well as helping with bookings for restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely miss breakfast on the terrace and drinking wine whilst looking at the sunset on the valley
