Value
The name is due to the impressive Towers of Papigo, the five vertical cliffs EUR 700m. about everyone in whose lap is the "Papigo Towers". The guesthouse consists of two buildings, one of which dates from the early 19th century. The view from the terrace that seems to float across the Vikos Gorge, breathtaking, since nothing is interposed optically between the guesthouse and the mountains.

We spent 3 nights at Papigko Towers and it was definitely worth it! The hotel harmonically matches the scenery, built in stone, similar to the whole traditional village. The terrace offers the most breathtaking view. To top the experience off, the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and kind, and helped us feel comfortable, despite the whole pandemic...

An amazing place if you want to escape and are looking for an alternative to the sea (sometimes the mountains help, especially during those very hot days).
Definitely looking forward to visiting back again in winter to appreciate the scenery, having the fireplace lighten.

great place to visit. the village is small, three restaurants and one cafe. it would have been good to rent a car so we could have visited other villages in the area. The hotel is nice. internet in the entire hotel area and in our room. It is not possible to boil water in the hotel room, so you have to buy a hot drink from the restaurant. The hotel's two cats are starving, so if you come here, bring cat food so the cats don't have to beg desperately for food from every tourist

The hotel is right at the side of the gorge (camila peak) so the rooms have a very nice view. The staff was very welcoming, especially the manager Giota. We will definitely visit again!

PS: The restaurant is also worth visiting. We had an excellent goat dish and complementary traditional cherry sweet (glyko tou koutaliou)!

A small, boutique hotel in mikro papigko. The hotel is basically two traditional house that have been converted into a hotel. The hotel is very comfortable and the management went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended. Great views of the mountains.

Amazing view and unexpected design. The service was great and the espresso of good quality. There is free and fast WIFI as well. It is a good place to work in your laptop. Also very good for dining. We found this place in trip advisor and it was only two minutes driving from Megalo Papigo

Stayed at PT 4 nights. The view is stunning morning and night. The rooms are very clean and authentic. Shower is a bit small but good hot water.
The owners are just lovely, very very helpful and made lovely breakfast for us with great variety every morning. I strongly reccomend this hotel and wish I could be back already.

Hello, definitly go for 2 days at Papigo. We did a rafting tour with Papigo rafting: a must! Don't worry, it's a very very easy raft. You could do a lot of hiking in the area. Finaly, we made a big mistake: don't go to island in the lake at Ioanina. A real tourist trap. Bit the old part of Ioanina is sharp, but in 3 hours you will have plenty of time to have a good overview, the go up in the mountains, you will enjoy!
