I pop in once or twice a week when I'm working in Meysey Hampton as a treat for lunch. It's been recently refurbished and extended to a high quality finish. The staff are all very friendly and genuinely seem to love working there, I'm not surprised it has a lovely atmosphere and the food is affordable and very tasty! Can't...

This lovely pub has undergone extensive renovation, however it seems to have retained its warm friendly atmosphere thanks to all the staff. It was nice to be treated as a special guest and nothing was to much trouble. Though the evening menu is not extensive the quality is first class and my wife and I would highly recommend the savoury...

Very good food in a bustling local village pub which has just been refurbished to a high standard. The pub team are welcoming and friendly and eager to serve. There is a very friendly atmosphere and we had good food in the comfortable restaurant. Although we thought there was a limited menu choice the fish cakes and bavette steak we...

My friend who lives near this pub suggested we had an early dinner here whilst I was visiting her for a few days. Not sure why she's not taken me before (wanted to keep it to herself I think!). On entering.......Cotswold coloured painted walls (grey, green, stone), a roaring log fire set in a large fireplace and a warmth from...

We stayed over a weekend. The owners have and continue to renovate this country pub with accommodation and deserve recognition for the improvements in place. The bedrooms do vary slightly in size although they all retain their character, whilst having been tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and modern en suite facilities. There is some background noise from the pub downstairs,...

Lovely Cotswold pub with very friendly staff. Visited Sunday 30th August and had an excellent Sunday lunch which was excellent value as were all the other items on the menu. When visiting our relatives again this pub will be at the top of our list.

Arrived with no booking on a busy Sunday lunchtime. They managed to fit us in, even though they are mid refurbishment and we had a faultless traditional roast beef, beautifully cooked, so tender and tasty, with all the trimmings. Service was very good, as was beer....cannot fault! We will return!

On our way home from a trip to Dorset. A mate lives locally and recommended the food. He wasn't wrong. Superb dinner and breakfast in a cracking location. The place should look stunning when the refurb has been completed.

Very friendly and accomodating hosts in a typical Cotswold pub, which is popular with local people, serves delicious food, has rooms and is being updated. A place well worth following, I am sure they will make a success of it. We were a family from grandparents down to a 2 yr old who were all catered for in a friendly,...
