I hope to stay there again. Very welcoming owners. Very quiet and peaceful bedroom. Tremendous breakfast. Lovely location. Easy parking. Ideal for solos. Interesting and attractive house and garden. What more can I say? Most excellent.
We didn't find what we expected of Cotswolds until we started our stay here. It's located right next to a very old church and barn - and this building (as told by our hosts) also has a long history. Unlike its classic looks from outside, Jill and Mike superbly decorated and refurbished the rooms and dining areas, and have made them both cozy and lovely. We used two rooms - one was quite spacious with a fully equipped bathroom, and the other was medium sized (but enough space for two) and had a smaller bathroom but had a shower booth as well. The hosts are so kind and welcoming, and answered all our trivial questions with sincerity. Would definitely recommend anyone planning to stay near Cotswolds or Cheltenham to pick this place. For some detailed info.. (+): Hotel class amenities, Welcome cookies & chocolate, Waking up to birds' chirps and songs in the morning, Neat tidy comfy beds, Great view and ambience, Cozy, Friendly. Wide selection of breakfast menu - mostly homemade and all delicious. Perfectly managed gardens and rooms. Great restaurant nearby (5 min ride) recommended by the host (The Royal Oak). Hairdryer, Electric kettle, Hot tea and fresh milk, TV, books, local guidebooks all provided in the rooms. (-): Toilet in one of our two rooms had low water pressure and had to try a few times to flush it. Wifi was a bit slow and had weak connection. Other than these problems, everything was just great.…
This a wonderful B&B tucked away in a quiet corner of Southam. Our hosts were very welcoming and the room was just right (but watch out tall people for the low beam). Breakfast is a feast of home made bread and jams, cooked breakfast, fresh fruit and/or cereals.
Wonderful location and a truly lovely historic house; our room was superbly presented with attention to every conceivable detail, and extremely peaceful. Breakfast choices were vast and delicious. An excellent place to stay.
We visited Cheltenham for our honeymoon and being exhausted from the wedding we knew we would want somewhere to relax, unwind and catch up on some much needed sleep, Pigeon House Cottage B&B did not disappoint! The house and gardens at Pigeon House B&B are stunning and welcoming from the minute of arrival. We were met at the door by the lovely Jill and friendly Millie the dog, Jill showed us to the picture perfect aptly named ‘Duck Room’. The room and bathroom are light and airy, tastefully decorated with a home from home feel, every little detail was thought about with local products giving a superb insight into its Cotswold surroundings. Mike met us for breakfast and as many of the other reviews have said breakfast was outstanding with delicious homemade treats, with an ample selection to suit any taste. The location was ideal for trips into Cheltenham centre and further afield, we visited the Falconry Centre and Sudeley castle during our stay. Hope to visit again soon, Gemma and Matt x …
