Fabulous weekend with 26 family and friends. The Manor, cottages and location were excellent. The caterers, Bensons of Broadway, recommended by Mr & Mrs Herford, were fantastic and everyone left wishing they could return the next weekend.

Beautiful autumnal setting for a group friends to relax and unwind, red wine by the fire, walks in the fresh air & even a game of tennis. The coach house was warm & familiar with a great kitchen & wonderful entertainment area.

Our stay is not yet over but I feel compelled to write a review as we are here so I do not forget how wonderful it really is here. We have been residing in the Dovecote cottage and have been made to feel so very welcome. The surroundings are out of this world, it truly is paradise. We have been...

We held a Golden Wedding anniversary weekend / week in Upper Court in the middle of August, so had 12 adults and 11 children ranging from 6 months to 13 years of age. We rented the Courtyard Cottage, The Stables and Coachhouse. We were blessed with phenomenal weather, but also with terrific facilities. The tennis court had been recently resurfaced...

We spent an idyllic few days over a weekend at Upper Court - staying at the cosy Dovecote Cottage. Based in the grounds of Upper Court, a beautiful manor house with extensive gardens and lake (along with an abundance of wildlife). The owners, Bill and Diana (who live in the manor house) were unobtrusive, pleasant, informative and generally lovely -...

We came for a couple of nights for a family wedding. The grounds are beautiful, especially around the lake. Unfortunately we had to take a room in the main house (for three nights as a minimum booking). We only stopped for two. The interior is a little tired, but you can see that it was once spectacular from the quality...

We are so sorry that you were not happy with your stay. Please check, as we have never insisted on a mandatory three night stay in the Manor, and the rooms are always on a room only basis (with tea and coffee making facilities). We have just had new stair carpets in the Manor and are about to do the...

I stayed here over Easter, and loved the charm and beauty of Upper Court. My boyfriend and I took long country walks, and visited pubs and had the perfect English countryside escape from the bustle of London. We stayed in the main house, where all the rooms are different and furnished with beautiful antiques. The owners lovely and really helpful....

We went for a mini break with another family (four children under the age of four!) and stayed in the Courtyard Cottage. It was beautiful, like staying in someone's (stylish) home, unlike the impersonal spaces we have stayed in at other self catering establishments. It was clean, cosy and perfect for the eight of us. They even provided two high...
