This is a gem of a pub. We had been before and had an amazing burger but this time had Sunday lunch. Beautiful rare roast beef, superb pork, home made stuffing, awesome pigs in smoked blankets, rich home made gravy superbly cooked veg and a great selection , and home made puds, generous portions, and incredible value, attentive service. I just could not fault anything about this pub. So many fail on a rubbish bought in pud or overpriced or sad veg. This is perfect.

Please accept our apologies for the 30 minute wait, all our food is cooked fresh to order and although we were aware of your booking we didn't think 30 minutes was an unreasonable time to wait, hopefully the food was worth it and you made it to the theatre on time.
