We were guests at a buffet in the main bar. The food was wholesome, with plenty of choice, the staff were perky, and if there was a disappointment it was the absence of any dessert on offer. There was a good range of ales and wines, as well as spirits.

Called in for lunch while stopping in the area. Had thought it was 'dog friendly',but that wasn't the case. Only allowed in the garden and as this was one of the few nice days we've had this summer, it wasn't an issue. Daughter in law had a superb ham salad; son and I had very nice pie. Basic, but good...

A group of 12 of us had a Sunday lunch to celebrate a special anniversary. We were given a room to ourselves upstairs and had a fantastic lunch. The food was great. The service was excellent, very personal and friendly and this all helped to make the whole occasion extremely pleasant and enjoyable. And to cap it off this pub...

After attending a Rugby World Cup match in Cardiff we stopped over here on the way back home. The bar was friendly and bright. The room was basic. But perfect for our needs. The shower did however need a look at, as the floor got soaked during use. The breakfast was nice. And the location looks amazing. I would recommend...

I booked 16 of us to stay at the Yew Tree Inn. We are quite a large group (Hockey team) and the Yew tree in was perfect. Offering a wide variety of rooms of lovely quality and very clean. We hadn't booked dinner or breakfast but they managed to fit us in despite being busy. The food was brilliant and...

Stayed here for 1 night, room clean and comfortable. TV very difficult to work -gave up in the end. The girl who booked us in told us that breakfast on Sunday would be from 7-8am, which we commented was very early, but she said that was because the kitchen staff had to prep for the Sunday Carvery. When we arrived...

Went for sandwich better than the usual as both taste and presentation very good prepared by a chief and you can tell, also excellent Sunday lunch need to book as gets very busy. Inside wooden tables large dining area. Service efficient not always friendly but good food and well worth a visit.

Enjoyed a lovely carvery Sunday lunch! We didn't booked and were lucky enough to have a table after recommendation from a local friend. There was a great choice of both meat and veg. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be returning and would strongly recommend.
