Great menu with plenty of variety and the food was superb. Myself and wife visited for our anniversary and had 3 courses. Good sized Portions, lovely environment, clean and brilliant service. Highly recommend a visit. Top notch all round

We chose this pub as it had good reviews on Trip, and we were hoping they were accurate as it was the venue for meeting friends that we see very rarely - each of us having to travel a considerable way to meet in between. We were not disappointed. The landlord was welcoming and the atmosphere ( whilst not busy...

This was a spontaneous visit on a Sunday whilst whilst driving through the Cotswolds, and we were lucky as there had been a lunch cancellation. So it is probably best to book ahead as they were very busy. We elected to just have a starter and dessert as we were eating out again for dinner. We both chose the lamb...

We met family here as it is a good halfway point, having seen the good reviews on TripAdvisor. Luckily we had booked as all the tables in the restaurant were reserved and they had to turn some people away. We were met with consistently friendly staff who were attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious with a good choice...

This little Inn is tucked away in a little village but what a gem of a place it is! Beautifully decorated inside, very country chic and the gardens are small but perfectly formed and so pretty! The food here is outstanding with fantastic hospitality and one that we shall always visit when we're in the area. They also allow dogs...

The staff are so friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Lisa who was so friendly and warm. The food was excellent, prepared to a high standard and...

We booked both rooms at the pub last week. Everything was great. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, and great food. The place is spotless. Little Compton is a very small town with a few pretty streets. Only a 5 minute cab rid from Moreton-in-Marsh. Our host Jamie was really nice, the pub dogs are wonderful, the town is cute as can be....

We recently stayed at the Red Lion overnight as part of a special occasion. The staff are really lovely and we were pleased with the room. There were no problems with noise from the bar at night, which can be an issue with some pub rooms. We ate there in the evening and the food was fine.

While staying at a nearby B&B, we only had to walk across a path around a field to get to The Red Lion.We had booked a table in advance but maybe this wouldn't always be necessary. We shared a starter of baked camembert which was divine, followed by cod and chips for me and gammon for my husband. Our meals...
