I recently went with my family for a week holiday at Port Blue Club in Alcudia and we had the surprise to find a really welcoming location,to encounter nice people and really good services. The hotel is located in an extraordinary part of the island, close to Cap de Formentor ,a strategic and for interest touristic location. We enjoyed a lot our stay in hotel, especially our daughter who enjoyed the atmosphere at the mini disco organized in the hotel. The food served was delicious and very varied and the waiters always keeping smiling and trying to please you. You can book trips in the island by booking through hotel,of course you get a discount. Is as well good if you rent a car and drive by yourself to visit the island. The rooms are really nice, large, clean and really well furbished. We stayed in a suite and couldn't be much happier, takking into account our child had her own room. The air conditioning is functioning really good. One minus is that the terrace from the bungalows doesn't have privacy.if you want to seat in the evening without seeing any person passing by,you don't have any choice.there should be a fence around the terrace. We are sorry we didn't use the spa, but we didn't have time as we tried to see as much as possible from the island.Traveling during Covid time, we had to wear masks in the hotel,at the poolbar/restaurant We will try to come back when the situation will be much different from now and we recommend everyone to choose this hotel. You will never regret it. All the best and respect to everyone there! And maybe until next year😊🤗! Custura Ioana

We enjoyed our stay here. I think it's very much in a state of transition to the new normal and with a few tweaks here and there it could be worthy of 5*. Rooms were great - big, nicely decorated and huge balconies. Facilities were decent, tennis courts were great. Adults only area totally shut (we only thought the restaurant would be) so that was a shame. Animation team put a few things on for people during the day, which was good. Putting green area had seen better days. The beach across the road isn't really a beach, the water pretty much comes right up to the road itself. If you're looking for long sandy beaches, you won't find it here, but a short drive away you will. This area is good for kite surfing though, we saw lots of people giving it a go along with wind surfing and sailing. Service in general was very good, everyone was doing the best they could. You could see the strain on the poor team in the restaurant area. It was a bit chaotic and needed a bit more management. The poor chefs were cooking and serving the food for everyone, it was clear to see that they were having a tough time of it at points. The waiting staff were a bit all over the place at times too. I think things will become easier with time and everyone gets used to things. But always, it was service was a smile. The food itself was decent. Nothing spectacular, but enjoyable. Lunch options were best as they were served a la carte rather than buffet. Drinks throughout the time here were good. Lots of options included on the all inclusive package. We were enjoying drinks late in the evening one night, and the hotel staff turned off all the lights dead on midnight which was a bit frustrating. They could have come out to let us know in advance rather than rudely shutting them off knowing we were still there. All in all, it's a nice option. The whole team are trying their best and with a few tweaks here and there it could be a great hotel option.

This was our 4th year at PortBlue and we absolutely love it. We booked last minute a few hours before Boris decided to impose quarantine measures but we are so glad we went as the resort had just opened the day before on the 25 July, so we knew it was going to be super safe and clean. Staff as always were amazing and great to see some familiar faces. Everything was super clean and safe to accomodated health and safety. The spa area was as gorgous and relaxing as ever and the gym was very quiet and kept safe to minimum people thanks to an easy to use booking system. Obviously the resort was quieter than usual due to the current pandemic so things were scaled back accordingly such as the buffet where the chefs will pop the food on your plate, but we felt very comfortable, happy and safe. I particularly enjoyed the aqua aerobics! A special shout out to some of our favourites: Juan Jose, Washington, Monika at the Spa, M. Carmen, Monica, Alberto, Carlos, Pili and Carmen. Plus the 'animation' gentleman (I think his name was Faliti or Haliti - he was excellent and put a lot of energy into bringing a smile to everyone's face). On some evening's we visited the local Port of Pollenca which is another one of our favourites, which had lots of restaurants open and nice to see it busy too. We will most definitely be back again next year and wish all the staff well. Thank you again everyone at PortBlue for some more wonderful holiday memories.

As a family of four, two children of 7 snd 9, we stayed here during Covid (August 2020) We couldn’t get a refund due to the Tarif we booked and the hotel was open. I did not want to go... but boy am I so glad we did. The safety precautions the hotel had in place, made us feel very safe indeed. The hotel in itself was not busy at all sadly. But for us.... it was great! The pool area is beautiful (adult pool and area was closed) there were plenty of beds, and space. Breakfast was a pain.... but I’m sure it’s also a pain for the staff too... as it’s no longer buffet. You have to ask the server exactly what you would like. But at least we are safe. Face masks must be worn in the restaurant and reception areas. Again, a pain... but the law. The spa area is also beautiful. All open, including the gym. You just have to pre book to ensure numbers are low. We also had a couple of massages which were awesome. Face mask on when face up, off when face down. I really needed this. We are so grateful that we managed to get away during the pandemic. The hotel made us feel very welcome. The beach area is directly across a busy road... but you wouldn’t want to sit there... it’s kind of rugged with not much beach area. In my opinion, you need a car. The parking is free in most places, and it’s great to get out and explore which we did lots of. My only issue would be if we were to return in normal circumstances it would be too busy. It’s was just perfect for us at this time with only a 10th of capacity.
