Leaving the hotel tomorrow 3 days early, would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone 30 or under! The food is basic and expensive. We went half board which meant breakfast and tea you could never get a seat to eat and the drinks are overpriced too! The hotel is based no where near anything making it more expensive to travel to and from places at the port etc.

Me and my partner had to constantly check if the cleaners were coming each day and we had to request clean towels and for the bedding changing I would have thought this would have been done more frequently.

The staff at reception were not very friendly and one bar man who was very rude to us throughout our stay.

Nothing going on at all in the hotel very boring place to stay.

The only good thing I will say is there were two lovely male bar staff who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable constantly happy and making us laugh. The pool near the sea was nice.

We spent a wonderful 10 days in Hotel More. We picked a seaview room, high up and got Number 317 .
I've seen a few mixed reviews for this hotel so will try to clarify a few of the points.
It's a old fashioned, comfortable and spotlessly clean hotel with traditional spanish dark wood decor so don't expect hip cutting edge furniture and loungers.
CONS
1. There is no fridge in your room, this is the only real issue that i can agree with. It's nice to be able to have a cold drink at night, they would still make plenty of money on drinks if this amenity was added
2. There are NO amenities at all in the vincity of the hotel, save Red Rum,a british bar that serves food too, about 5 mins away. For anything else (supermarkets, car rental, bars etc) it is approx 15 min easy walk into the beautiful old town of Alcudia.
PROS
1.Perfectly located overlooking the sea. Get a Seaview room, yo won't regret it.
2.There are 2 pools, one small adults only and the wonderful larger one across the road with fabulous views out to sea. They have lifeguards on until 6pm but we could still swim later than that.
3.We were half board, this means drinks are not included, something that people seem to struggle with - that would be all inclusive. Breakfast had good coffee (hubby is a caffeine addict and he said it was really good, so i think they've upped their game there) plus a variety of fruit juices and chilled water. With the evening meal you don't get any drinks included, but alcholic drinks were actually very responsibly priced, however i agree that the bottled water was needlessly expensive.
4.Each day the buffet changed with themes including mexican and indian cusine. There was always fish, at least 3 meat choices and for veggies at least one option, plus chips and salad were on every night. Desserts were yummy too with a differt mousse flavour each day, tiny cakes, fresh fruit, ice cream and more. It was well cooked, hearty fare, not haute cusine
5.Peaceful location, don't come here looking for a vibrant nightlife, it is lovely and quiet. Go to magaluf if that's what you're after.
6.The small beach closet to the hotel is nice, although suffered from an algae bloom same as many other beached on the island at that time of year. However if you carry on about 20 mins past the beach along the cliffs you'll come to another 2 stunning beaches.
7.Air con is included and very effective
8. Staff were lovely and room was spotless with daily cleaning service.
9. There is a left luggage room if you have a late flight

If you are looking for a quiet break in Majorca then this is the place to go. This hotel is set in a residential area with only one other hotel next door. It’s on a very pretty bay and it’s location meant it was quiet and relaxing. We booked a sea view room and we were not disappointed, it was beautiful.

The room was very comfortable with very efficient air conditioning which you do not have to pay extra for. We booked the half board option and had a good breakfast every morning. There were a few choices for dinner with pork and fish done different ways most evenings, sometimes there was lamb and also veal. Plenty of fresh salad, pasta and rice and other vegetables to go with it and there were only two evenings that we were disappointed with what was on offer.

Outside, the garden area was where we chose to sit on a sun bed. You get a lovely view and sea breeze in the afternoons and the shade from the trees was most welcome. The pool area tended to get quite hot and we found the sun beds there hard and uncomfortable.

In my opinion this is perfect for adults or families with teenage children, due to the location, being out of town. The old town is a 20-30 minute walk away which is challenging in the heat or for those with mobility issues but a five minute taxi ride for about 7 euros puts you where you want to be.

I would not recommend this hotel for families with small children as the pool is very deep with only a small shallow section by the steps. There is a small, shallow beach which is great for snorkelling but there are no sun beds there. There was a lot of weed in the water which could be smelly and not nice to walk through, but this is not the hotels fault, just something to be aware of.

We had a really lovely, relaxing holiday here and will return again someday.

This was our third stay at Hotel Morè, and sad to say will be our last. We were booked into a Junior Suite, consisting of 2 x beds, an occasional chair, small coffee table, dressing table/chair, TV, and full length mirror. Balcony with 2 x plastic chairs/small table. There was also a small fridge in the wardrobe and kettle with 2 cups on serviettes and a tray. No complimentary coffee/tea, milk/sugar, spoons. The shower room was in a corner, a half frosted glass partition with toilet/sink/shower. There was conditioner and shampoo available. We went half board. Breakfast ends at 10am and evening meal starts at 7pm, a long time to go between meals. No full board available. On our previous visits there was a local shop just a few seconds walk around the corner. They sold the basics, water, fresh bread and sandwich fillings and other snacks. This has closed. Therefore, if you want to grab a bite, you are a captive audience at the hotel or the local pub. A 1.5 litre of water (to put in your fridge, if you have paid extra for the junior suite) is priced at a premium at the side of what it costs at the supermarket. Other than this, you either have to walk for about 20 minutes to the old town… and walk back with your shopping, or get a taxi (which we saw a lot do). Other rooms don’t have a fridge. (But most of them have a sea view, which our junior suite didn’t have, we overlooked a swimming pool and ping pong table at the back of the hotel which, I thought a junior suite would be best commanding a sea view, but that’s just my opinion) The food is a bit hit and miss. Mostly fine and a good choice. At half board, you have to pay for the water you drink with your evening meal, which I thought was a really poor provision. This should be a free standard offering with any meal, given the climate. The location is stunning and that’s the thing they have. There are sunbeds on the front of the hotel, across a road, they get taken very early on in the morning due to their prime position at the seas edge. People reserve with towels. There is a pool too across the road alongside the Sunbed area, this was very busy too. The adult only pool at the back of the hotel does not get busy and is quite relaxing, it was a real sun trap. There is a lovely beach alongside the hotel, however there is no Sunbed or umbrella hire facility and it leaves you really exposed to the heat/sun but there’s usually a lovely breeze and you can dip in and out the seal. There’s no water sports or beach bar, and no local shop. Alcudia old town, as mentioned, is about 20 mins walk, but be prepared for the walk back, if you’re carrying things from the supermarket, it’s tiring in the heat. We spoke to several people who said it was their first visit and would not be returning (one couple had pre booked it for a 2nd visit next year, but said they were going to cancel it) Beautiful location but sadly, the lack of facilities/local shop and being a captive audience is not enough for us to return anymore.

Hotel lovely, if any complaint it would have to be the pool area (adult) was tidied daily but actually the floor space was not cleaned/washed once throughout the week. Stained from dirt and bits of rubbish eg: lemon from someone's drink was on the floor for over 4 days. I did pick it up eventually! Although an adults pool there were on occasion children in it!
Positive note always able to get a sun bed, and perfect for relaxation 😌. Not alot happening apart from one evening disco!
No local amenities, a bit of a walk to the older part of Alcudia.
Rooms cleaned daily and towels changed.
There was no room available to change in after a long day of waiting around (7.40pm)for our pick up to the airport. Please allow us the option of a room, that doesn't cost 40 euros to take a shower, or at least have one available. There isn't a shower in any of the outdoor toilets to wash the daily grime away, just rince showers around the pool, no tioletries were allowed in those!
I would recommend as an adult only hotel as there's very little for children to do as it's so quiet. A car would be beneficial too!
Nice hotel for couples though. We travelled as couple but it was a mother and daughter trip.

We happily made the decision to return to the Hotel More and we were not disappointed.
This hotel is in the most sublime setting and is such a charming place to enjoy a quiet hassle free holiday.
All staff throughout the hotel are wonderful and so hard working determined to make your stay enjoyable and I cannot understand some negative reviews on here.
Pros.
Sea view rooms enjoy such a fabulous view and are decorated tastefully and well worth the extra charge.
The regular rooms are perfectly fine too. If you are a very light sleeper remember there is noise from other guests in all hotels.
Two pools to enjoy!! There is also a wonderful seating area with views across the bay.
If you are looking for shops, bars and nightlife this is not the hotel for you!!
We found the food to be very good and there was always food to our taste..outside main dining times the bar offers a range of drinks and snacks. I have noticed complaints about bar prices but only premium brands are served including bottled water from the Serra Tramutana.
The hotel reception will arrange trips, car hire, cycle hire and even has a small gift shop area selling necessary items.
The beautiful Alcudia old town is within walking distance has a wonderful market twice a week..if you are not so mobile the hotel will arrange a taxi.
Cons
None....we look forward to our return!!!
Thanks to all the staff you hard work and kind manner is acknowledged and appreciated by us.
See you next time!!

Great stay at Hotel More. Fab location on the sea front in this quiet part of Alcudia. Swimming pool is new, clean and well positioned at the front of the hotel with great views over the bay. Ample sun beds on the water's edge and by the pool, and we were never left without one. The biggest compliment to this hotel is the staff. Everyone is very friendly - bar, restaurant, pool staff, etc. - they make your stay really enjoyable. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Great air conditioning for those hot days too. Food is varied, always hot and tastes great. No complaints at all.

The nearest pub (Red Rum) is 2 minutes walk away and the nearest supermarket / shop is a 15 minute walk into town. The walk into town is not strenuous and it also allows to have a look around the Old Town too.

Only negative is some noise between rooms. The majority of the stay was fine but when other rooms come in late conversations can be heard quite easily.

We had a room looking onto the pool at the front of the hotel and would thoroughly recommend this as these don't get the sun at the end of the day. The room would be too hot otherwise.

When checking out with a late flight, there are showed facilities on the ground floor so you can arrive at the airport fresh. Great to have this option. You can extend your room to 2pm on the departure day for 25 euros, but the shower room was enough for us and didn't pay extra.

Stayed here in May for 11 nights. First let me say that the staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel was really clean, maid service every day, excellent. However, personally we didn't think it was very quiet due to the road noise late at night. The recycling lorry came at midnight and we were in Room 110 on the 1st floor overlooking the other hotel. There was constant noise from other guests walking up the stairs to their rooms, I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. We could also hear other rooms toilets being flushed & showers running. Maybe there was not enough soundproofing/insulation because it was an older hotel ?? Food was fine but there were no shops/bars nearby to visit for a change of scene. The nearest town was a good 15/20 minute walk away. I would also say that if you have mobility problems this could pose a problem as there are steep steps to the reception area. The beach was man-made (we actually saw the truck delivering the sand) and very pebbly. Water was very clear & you could see fish swimming around, however, locals walking their dogs did NOT clean up their mess & were letting them run on to the beach so beware where you are walking. For these reasons, we won't be returning again.

This hotel is rated 3* and was very cheap so we went in with low expectations which were pleasantly proven wrong.
The hotel is spotless with beautiful views. The rooms were fine, good working TV, good shower, decor a little dated, the aircon was broken in our room but this didn't bother us as the temperature in early May was pleasant.
The biggest downside for us was that there are no shops and only 1 restaurant ( "Red Rum") nearby. It seems like there were a few shops nearby previously that had unfortunately closed down. This meant without a 30 minute round trip, you had to buy expensive drinks from the hotel (around 3€ for a large bottle of water) or the 1 restaurant (3.5€ for a small bottle of coke).
Food was fine, plenty of choice for breakfast but not many vegetarian options at dinner so we opted to eat out in town most nights. The old town is about a 15 minute walk or you could carry on to Port D'Alcudia which was around 30 mins walk and had an amazing beach.
There are some stunning coastal walks nearby however the terrain would be tricky for anybody with mobility issues.
Plenty of sunloungers available at all times of day, very quiet around the pools. No evening entertainment so evenings in the bar were fairly quiet too.

Fabulous little hotel from start to finish, if you want a total eeek of relaxation this is the place for you. My husband and myself had the most perfect week here. All the staff were really lovely and helpful… special thanks to Jesus, Manuel, khakid, and nachos for going above and beyond to make our stay even more special. Our room was very clean comfortable even if slightly dated the only downside was the soundproofing you could here next door but not the end of the world. The hotel boasts 2 fabulous pools one is adult only with total peace and tranquillity the other also welcoming, clean and lifeguard on duty. The restaurant staff were great and the food was of great quality with something for everyone. Fresh fruit plenty of choice for breakfast and tea. Very Covid safe, plenty of room to feel safe, plentiful hand sanitizer available and strict on mask wearing. Bar and lunchtime food good quality drinks pretty average priced for the area. Overall this is a perfect haven for a total relaxation which we enjoyed and can’t wait to return to this little gem.

Met two sisters from Bristol at Hotel More, last September. They’d taken their Mum, who used a walker, there on holiday. There are ramps at the front of the hotel, and from the bar to the patio area in the centre of the hotel. This enabled access to the social areas of the hotel and a lift to all floors. Staff also opened an external door at road level, to allow access to the restaurant, so that was step-free too. Finally there is a ramp to the swimming pool, across the road from the hotel. In summary the girl’s Mum moved freely around the hotel. There was a little more walking for her to do, but that didn’t seem to be an issue. Hope this helps.
