Detailed Reviews
Had a really fantastic weekend on this lovely peaceful working dairy and cattle farm, all the things you would hope to get the opportunity to see and do as well as a super quaint and clean private room with a bath, which was absolutely perfect for us 😁
Never even used the pool but would still give 5 stars as Jenny and her lovely family gave us such a warm welcome and a wonderful weekend.
They showed us the cows being milked and we even got to see a calf being born!
they really did go above and beyond on so many levels. The breakfast was amazing with home made jam and wonderful milk from their dairy as well as perfectly cooked full English 👏

The Shepherds hut was compact, but beautifully appointed, with everything you could need to hand. It has clearly been designed with great attention to detail. Well equipped for those of us that like to go self-catering. The hamper they left was wonderful! A picturesque view across the countryside, with cows and horses in the field and red kite flying over the valley, hunting their prey. A very friendly family, with 3 lovely dogs and a cat. We swam every afternoon in the heated swimming pool housed under a poly tunnel to keep out the weather. We thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing stay. The hut is near to a road, but it's not a major one and traffic is only occasional at night. The village of Whitchurch is a short drive away with a few nice places to eat, drink and shop. I'd definitely recommend this for a rural stay.

We have visited this family farm twice now and we would heartily recommend this well run establishment.
The care and attention to detail and the whole experience while planning and staying at Peak Hill Farm is a credit to Mr. and Mrs. M. Stevens.
The whole family make you feel at ease and catered for and we will certainly be visiting again, this charming part of Hampshire.

Originally planned to stay in March 2020 but had to postpone due to Vivid.
We had booked to stay for 3 nights as we had tickets for the Bombay Saphire Distillery tour.
Rearranged for early August and we were so lucky as the weather was brilliant and so warm.
Arrived to a warm welcome with tea and biscuits. Jenny showed us around our annex room and explained a lot about the area.Lovely helpful host.
The room was immaculately clean and sanitised and we had no concerns about anything and felt very safe.
We were in the annex at the back of the farmhouse and it was delightful especially having the patio with table and chairs to use at our leisure. We had Jennies delicious breakfast outside each morning and it was so nice.
Wonderful friendly family who work so hard together on the farm but with such enthusiasm, working all hours of the day, and night!
Pleasure to meet all the family and friends while we were with them.
The farm is ideally located for the Bombay Sapphire tour and also Highclere Castle(Downton) which is 15 minutes drive away. Well worth a visit in stunning surroundings.
Thank you to Jenny,Mark and all the family, friends and pets, for making our visit so enjoyable.
Look out for Monty the cat wandering found the farmhouse roof without a care in the world. Brilliant !! 😎👍

Jenny was a wonderful host, offering us a cup of tea on our arrival. She gave suggestions of places to have dinner and had a map to help us find our way. Breakfast was delicious and our room had a wonderful view of the countryside. We were lucky enough to see some of the calves that had recently been born.
The Bombay Sapphire distillery is about a 5 minute drive away and Highclere is only 10 minutes away. We would recommend the Watership Down for dinner, it was our best dinner of our trip in the UK. A wonderful stay!

Finding a space to lay our heads whilst visiting family that gave us a chance to have a countryside rather than town view was perfect. keen walkers this is also within striking distance; we look forward to returning for a longer stay to get out (this was a flying visit for us).
The Annexe was great for what we needed. A space to hang a few clothes, chairs to sit on inside and out. Shower and bath, with really fluffy towels. Warmly welcomed by Jenny and all of the family as they went about their farming. Lovely cooked breakfast.
Wonderfully organised and set up with the gentle moo of cows and whinnying of horses to wake up to.

Booked for a couple of days as had tickets for Bombay Sapphire Distillery. Intrigued to stay on a working dairy farm. Jenny and her family made us feel very welcome. Lovely room (The Yellow Room) and good breakfast. Jenny’s son very kindly showed us the cow milking process (advice - wear very old clothes!). Would highly recommend staying here, and we would happily go back.

My partner and I visited Peak House Farm for a two night stay to attend a family wedding local to the area. Right from the initial enquiry, Jenny was very helpful and there was great communication. Upon arrival the annex was clean, well presented and welcoming. Jenny was there to greet us and ensured we had everything that we needed. On both mornings, the breakfast was great and very nice touch having different options for breakfast. The annex was a inviting space and the area is quiet and relaxing! Jenny and her family catered for our requirements and the service was excellent.
100% recommendable play to stay.

We recently spent two nights here while attending a wedding nearby. The family were friendly and helpful and the pets were lovely! The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, well appointed and quiet. Great breakfasts and lovely walks from the doorstep. Thank you!
