We stayed 1 week early September at Jeanett's and Pujee's camp and had a wonderful experience. Their place is located only 2 hours from UB but the contrast is striking: after a 4WD ride across hills and rivers, the road ends in a green valley where horses, goats and cows graze peacefully on the banks of a small river. No man-made sounds, just nature all around. And an awesome opportunity for star gazing!
The gers were very comfortable, cosy and warm, despite minus temperatures at night. The food was truly delicious, particularly when considering how remote the camp is. We had fresh salad everyday, delicious home-made dumplings, soups, lots of veggies and a scrumptious breakfast every morning. We were able to shower comfortably (the staff boiled some water) and even enjoyed a session in the sauna! There was a dump toilet that always felt neat and clean.
There are plenty of things to do: beautiful hikes, horse riding or just chill out at the camp, playing chess or reading. We loved the fact that we didn't have to ride everyday (it can be pretty exhausting, even if you're an experienced rider). Horses were lovely and adapted to all levels of experience.
Thanks Jeannett, Pujee, Storm, Otlana and the girls for this awesome experience!

My friend and I only did a day trip that was booked last minute but we wished we had skipped Ulaanabatar and went straight to the camp. The drive out there is an adventure in its own right but well worth the time. Everything about our trip was excellent. Pujee, Jeanette, Storm, and the rest of the staff were gracious hosts and made sure we had a great time. I think my favorite part of our visit was being able to meet with all of the other guests who were from all over the world. Highly recommend and a great value for your time and money.

Forget the world for a few days in this fantastic getaway spot with a warm family.
Incredible scenery - perfect for hiking. Epic horseback rides - with horses for beginners to experts. Delicious home cooked Mongolian meals.
Spotless shared ger for sleeping. Would return in a heartbeat.

Dream Adventure is an absolutely wonderful place to get away for the weekend. Nestled in a quiet and stunning valley, with a forested hill on one side and a nice clear rocky one on the other, it is not only a place to relax but also explore. The hosts are wonderfully friendly and great company - Jeanette is a fantastic cook and cooked me the most amazing vegetarian food, Puujee is an awesome horseman and little Storm a treasure. The ger camp itself is simple but wonderfully clean and character filled, the beds soft (my softest and most comfy bed in Mongolia so far) and warm. I loved it. You can't get a better weekend away from UB.

I had heard alot about Dream Adventure before my visit, so I had pretty high expectations. I can safely say all of these were surpassed! The location, food and amenities were outstanding (especially the food - thank you Jeanette). Most of all Jeanette, Puujee and Storm are fantastic hosts (along with their animal friends) and made our stay so comfortable I didn't want to leave. I will definitely be bringing my family and friends back in summer!

Dream Adventure isn't your average ger camp in Terelj. Staying with Jeanett, Puujee, Storm, and the four-legged members of their family was a perfect bookmark for my friend's visit to Mongolia. The food is amazing, with Jeanett's versions of Mongolian classics a perfect blend (including more vegies that you'd get from your average Mongolian fare). The gers are super-comfortably, with softer-than-usual mattresses and beautiful furniture. Then there was the horse-riding. These are honestly the best, most calm horses I've ridden in Mongolia. I felt totally safe, and unlike some places, Jeanett and Puujee offer safety gear to make you feel more comfortable, even for first-time horse-riders. Puujee is also a really awesome guide, who takes care of everyone in the group.

The location is beautiful, isolated from the noise of roads and cities, but close enough to other human beings that you don't feel completely alone. The amenities are great, especially the westernised pit-toilet for those who can't quite get the squatting down. There's a lovely sauna ger and outdoor shower if you're in need of some personal care.

All in all, a beautiful camp and somewhere I'll be returning to in summer!

I had a great time with Jeanette and Puje. The atmosphere is so relaxing and Jeanette can really make Mongolian food taste so good. The horses can go really fast. Puje was very keen to race! Very exhilarating! Thanks Dream Adventure.

Dream Adventure really is a dream: the owners/staff are delightful and accommodating, the setting is gorgeous, the horses are reliable, and the camp itself is excellent. Nestled above a babbling brook on a hillside blanketed in wildflowers, the ger camp is very clean and comfortable. Seriously, amazing beds and perhaps the nicest bathroom in all of Mongolia! The camp's high quality is even more impressive given that it is family-owned and -operated and run on a friendly, intimate scale with authentic Mongolian materials and style.

Despite being quite close to Ulaanbaatar (1.5-2 hour drive) and quite close to the small city of Nalaikh (maybe 30 minutes?), the place feels private and remote despite being in the very popular national park, Terelj. Jeannett and Pujee, the married couple who owns and operates Dream Adventure, are naturals in the hospitality business. Jeannett is a gourmet chef (Cordon Bleu trained?) who prepares Mongolian meals with a twist that will please the palates of those who enjoy a little more flavor and vegetable content than is traditional. Pujee is an expert horseman; you are in safe hands when you ride with him! I've ridden in a number of settings in Mongolia and can highly recommend Dream Adventure for the best mixture of supervision and fun overall. You have some flexibility in where you ride and for how long: if you're a more experienced rider who wants to gallop on the steppe, I recommend asking to go on the route towards the Tuul River, which has fairly even terrain. Riding up into the hills is fun but it's difficult to go very quickly and the rocks on the paths are crumbly (and make things a bit nerve-wracking).

Dream Adventure is best for small groups (3-6), given that this is a small camp, and for people who want an outdoorsy get-a-way (riding, hiking). How highly do I recommend Dream Adventure? Twice this summer I brought/sent people to Dream Adventure for their first experiences of the Mongolian countryside and it was a home-run both times. I'm even going back with friends on Saturday!

I recently visited Dream Adventures for a night away with friends- my 2nd visit. Last time I came it was covered in snow so it was beautiful to see the contrast in the landscape- now green pastures and wild flowers in bloom. The bed in the ger was even more comfortable than my bed back in Ulaanbaatar! Some relaxing to wake up and look out the door of our ger to see horses frolicking with their foals in the distance. Our hosts Jeannette and Pujee were delightful as always. Jeannette catering for us more than adequately with delicious traditional Mongolian food with a European touch. Fresh cream and yoghurt for breakfast with waffles and homemade jam. Cute little bunches of wild flowers decorating the facilities- nice touch.
Pujee our horse guide took us for a couple of hours horse ride through the surrounding hills. We even got to help herd some of the neighbours horses. Tourism experience with a purpose! Definitely one of the best rides I have done in Mongolia. Pujee is an excellent tour guide- very calm. For dinner we had Mongolian tradional khorhog (whole goat cooked with hot rocks over a campfire), Meticulously prepared by Pujee. The next day spent playing cards in a cosy ger as rain fell outside. Perfect way to escape UB for a relaxing get away not too far car ride away.
Looking forward to taking my sister and boyfriend when they visit to experience the beautiful Mongolian countryside and hospitality I have been raving on about.

A group of volunteers had a weekend at DA and were impressed at the quality of facilities provided to guests. The gers were well equipped and clean. Meals were more than adequate and the specially ordered khorhog was prepared just right.
The horse-riding was well organised and supervised, going through some beautiful countryside, which is at its best looking right now.
The hosts were completely attentive to our needs and nothing was too much trouble for them to make our stay a memorable. Some of our group were obviously happy with DA as it was a repeat visit for them.
For convenience and ease of access to a well established ger camp in close proximity to UB, nothing comes close to DA.
