Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small(ish) family style hotel about 8 miles from the coast up in the hills. We arrived very tired after an incredibly long day in desperate need for a drink and to relax. No problem. Nice shady veranda, gin and tonics and some nibbles helped us feel human quickly. Our room is very comfortable with everything you could require and has retained some lovely features especially in the bathroom with a painted hand basin and brass fittings. The menu for evening meal is large enough to cover most tastes and the food we had was faultless. Breakfast was huge, eggs, toast fruit yogurt savoury and sweet pastries - we really did not do it justice. We were booked for one night only but decided to stay another - when you find something great why change. Sadly we have to move north tomorrow and say goodbye to the lovely Dora

A lovely family run hotel in charming Greek village. English speaking owners very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent freshly cooked food (huge portions), comfortable en suite room with magnificent views. Good location for walking or for exploring the beautiful Pelion peninsular by car.

We chose the hotel for its spa, but it proved to be amazing in all aspects. Great view to Pagasitikos Gulf from the rooms of this newly built hotel. Generous hosts, ready to cater for your needs at any time. Dimitris and Dora are really polite and helpful. Make sure you enjoy the spa, which is really great. Also, one of the strengths of this hotel is its breakfast!!!! It is amazingly rich. You won't be able to eat it up!!! And I should'nt forget to stress that everything is really really clean!!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!

We stayed at Dryades for 4 nights, 2 families, 2 rooms for each family. It is an excellent hotel with an amazing view (the village is high), the rooms are in great condition and the breakfast is very good. The hotel is owned by a very nice family that gives you the feeling that you stay at their home. They are so nice and helpful. Dimitri can help with travel recommendations and Dora will help with anything you need. It is very recommended to have dinner at the hotel. The village is great, few nice restaurants and a nice walking path to see the view. We were lucky to be there when they had a party in the village square with a lot of Greek tourists and Greek music. Very recommended hotel. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Hotel Dryades for four nights and wished it could have been more. Dora gave a lovely welcome, and the service from everyone was excellent. In the mornings for breakfast, we felt more like family than guests, with local delicacies being made especially for us (I'm allergic to egg, so especially appreciated the freshly made doughnuts), and an amazing spread, including fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt and more. In the evening, the terrace is the perfect place for a drink, and the hosts were always happy to discuss the best places to go, and how best to get there. The room was perfect and luxurious, clean and quiet, with everything we could have wanted. The hotel itself is situated in the mountains, so a little cooler in the evenings, which was welcome. The village has a wonderful square with a great atmosphere, if you fancy venturing out in the evening. We hope to come back again, and highly recommend it to others.

For many years we have been going to lovely places (in France, Italy, Morocco, Austria and Spain) to walk, talk and enjoy good food and drink. We had a warm welcome from Dimitrios and Dora and could not have wished for better advice when we asked. The surroundings are beautiful, the food tasty and interesting and the en-suite rooms were very clean and comfortable with excellent coastal views from the balconies. This time we were a party of seven and at least two have already decided to return.

Seven of us came to walk the hills and nearby beaches. The host and his wife Dora were superb, anticipating every need and serving generous portions of delicious home-made local food. The rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable with views out to the coast and distant mountains. We came at an off-peak time but the village burst into life on Sunday with a local band and happy families eating in the square.

Our experience at Dryades Hotel at Agios Lavrentios was very pleasant. The room was cleaned every day while we had breakfast (which has many tasty local specialities on board). The spa area includes a hammam, sauna, jacuzzi and is for private bookings only, however very enjoyable. The owners treated us very well and we had a relaxing stay.
