Firstly the area. La Oliva is inland and has very little in the way of things to do so, if you are looking for beaches or nightlife, either hire a car or stay elsewhere. The hotel is about a half hour walk from the town, where you will find a few very basic cafeterias, a nice church and a couple...

We were made to feel very welcome at this comfortable and well-situated hotel in the north of the island. Italian sisters run the place and all the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Rooms large and good food in the restaurant.

We spent a week here, rattling around in a three bedroom villa, as they were unable to accommodate the two of us in a room in the hotel itself. Anyone wanting to get away from a plastic beachside hotel, and not wanting anything too luxurious will be happy with this place. Its probably as about as upmarket as it gets...

Visited here this week for a week half board. Lovely place but has a few issues. We stayed in a 3 bed villa, we booked this after originally booking a normal tourist hotel but after reviews I thought it better we book a hotel with heated pools as we wanted a relaxing week and my 5 year old likes to...

Rural but close to the coast if you hire a car. Wonderful staff and a peaceful, quite idyllic location. Our room was more of a suite with enormous bathroom and comfortable lounge area. Dark, antique style furniture with a cosy but typically Spanish feel. A complete change from the typical resort style complex. Highly recommended with wonderful and luxurious lounge...

Our 10 night stay at this very special hotel certainly lifted our experience of Fuerteventura. Truly a ‘rural oasis’; an extremely comfortable, calm and convenient base from which to explore the island. We really enjoyed the friendly surroundings of the bar and restaurant with an excellent menu and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was wonderful. Manuela and all her team are...
