This hotel is very well positioned on the bank of the river Oise, and is in a convenient position for visits to the Chateau at Chantilly and the old town of Senlis. The owners are very welcoming, the food is good, and our room, although relatively small, was comfortable.

The hotel is in a small town/large village about 10 minutes drive from Chantilly. I booked online a week before for a Saturday night and requested a room with a bathtub which I got. My room was clean, modern and light on the 3rd floor overlooking the river (free wifi too). Be warned if you have mobility problems or heavy... More

We had eaten here a good 3 course meal. Nothing special, but ok. The service is very good and nice, lots of extra's where served. Wine prices cheap, but also not very special. Restaurant was full, atmosphere good. The oysters where very good, but that has nothing to do with cooking.. Today we have eaten just on the other side... More

A nice and quiet location near Chantilly and Paris, overlooking a green river bank with barges slowly going by and a modern iron bridge, well screened from a derelict industrial building few dozen meters away. Smallish rooms, still well fitted and convenient for a reasonable price. A steep winding staircase will be an issue for some. Helpful, welcoming owner or... More

On arrival on Saturday afternoon restaurant was closed but after a quick call to the owner he was there quickly to help us to our rooms. We stayed on the 3rd floor and had two interconnecting rooms to make it into a 4/5 person family room which suited us perfectly. Rooms are clean and fairly spacious with TV (no tea... More

We had a fabulous expierience at Hôtel restaurant de l'Oise. The hospitality was second to none and the food was of a very high standard. The prices are very reasonsable and you get great value for money. The hotel is situated off the beaten track with Chatilly and Paris closeby.

We had a small room on the third floor which was reached by a rather steep winding staircase so might be unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems or large luggage. The room itself was small, clean and had a small but perfectly adequate bathroom. It looked over the River Oise which has mainly commercial traffic but has trees and large... More

This hotel is a gem! My husband and I and another couple stayed here March 22-24, 2012. The hotel is spotless, modestly priced, and right on the river. The DeWales, owners and proprietors, couldn't have been more accommodating. We had everything we needed. We parked our car in their enclosed parking lot, which is another plus. Our goal was to... This was my second time in the Hotel de l'Oise. I recently moved in the Chantilly area and had to stay a few nights at the hotel while awaiting my furniture to arrive. Again, my room was clean, comfortable, and with a nice and relaxing view over the Oise river. The owners and staff are very friendly and efficient. I... More

I had to spend a night in the Chantilly region for business reasons and, as most hotels in the area are very expensive or get bad/mixed reviews, I decided to try this small family-run hotel in the quiet village of Saint Leu d'Esserent that had no review at all on Tripadvisor. I wasn't disappointed. Of course, this is a 2-star... More
